Tough in the Trenches: Class of 2023 OL

With 21 Offensive Linemen in the class of 2023 on the Prep Redzone rankings and 4 in the top 10 ranked players overall, it is obvious that there is a great abundance of talent at the position. Here are five of those Offensive Linemen looking to have a great Senior season in 2022. In 2021, he helped the Lakota East Thunderhawks to seven wins and average 29.5 points per game. He plays as a LT and RT. While run blocking, he displays elite play strength with very good hands as he delivers a powerful punch to the frame of the DE sending his man to the ground with ease. In pass pro, he does a good job of keeping his feet moving and shows good hands as he wins battles with his hands inside negating the progress of the DE giving the QB a clean pocket to operate from. He plays as a LG and LT. While run blocking, he displays very good athletic ability as he pulls to the perimeter. Uses his good play strength to drive the OLB off the ball creating a lane for the RB. In pass pro, he wins battles with his hands inside as he is able to stay in front of larger DT and maintain his block. In addition to his great play as an OL, he also excels as a DE.
