Another speedster, Anderson is coming off an excellent season for Perry last year and showed a knack for getting behind the defense. He’s a downfield threat due to his deceptive speed, but he’s a reliable weapon in the screen and slant game as well. If he has room to run, he’s going to pick up big yards. He was consistent, productive, and showed off D1 playmaking ability last year as a sophomore. He’s a smooth runner, but he’s also a slipper ball-carrier. He slips through tackles with ease and shows great balance. He does a good job of staying on his feet after contact to pick up more yards after the catch. He’s a big-play waiting to happen, and he could be bound for a breakout junior season in 2022. Last season, Anderson caught 51 passes for 801 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Don’t let his smaller stature fool you, The 5-foot-9 155-pounder has game-changing speed and is one of the more explosive playmakers across the state for any classification. The high 4-star prospect has track-star speed and claims a 4.31 40-yard dash, proving to be one of the top sprinters across the state. The Gray native won the 5A state championship in both the 100 and 200 meter dash, but he’s more than that. Ragins is a football player who makes an impact with more than his speed. Ragins has great hands, can change directions with ease, and shows great body control when going for the football. The playmaker already caught 63 passes last fall for 1,062 yards and 9 touchdowns in 13 games. His top-end speed and ability to score whenever he has the ball makes him one of the top 2024 prospects in the state.
Shatavious Hogan – Baldwin
One of the more underrated receivers in thee 2023 class, Hogan showed big-time athleticism and a nose for the endzone last season for Baldwin. The Milledgeville native is a natural runner with great hands and the ability to pick up yards after the catch. He’s quick off the line, gets open consistently, and knows how to make a tough reception. He’s a fun player to watch, and he was consistently one of the top athletes on the field in every game. He’s still an unknown prospect, but one team could be getting a steal if they give him an opportunity down the road. As a junior last fall, Hogan
Damare Franklin – Veterans
Still an unknown prospect, there haven’t been many more reliable offensive players in Middle Georgia than Franklin. The quick, twitchy receiver had an excellent season last fall, making defenses look bad just about every Friday night. He’s a dangerous weapon with the ball, showing off burst and explosion when given space. He’s a reliable route runner and knows how to create separation. He’s technically sound, changes directions well, and knows how to make a big play down the field. Franklin has shown consistent hands and put up impressive numbers last year, catching 63 passes for 1,001 yards and 9 touchdowns. He was named Region 1 5A Offensive POTY to go along with 1st-team ALL-STATE honors. He’s absolutely one of the top receivers in the area to know about in 2022.
