They also sometimes put him in the box to cover tight ends against 22 personnel. I think he works really well as a cover 2 safety who can play centerfield and help on deep balls. He has great timing on his jumps and has the speed to cover large chunks of the field. He got quality reps as a freshman against excellent competition in the first half of the season which helped his development. He needs to put on some muscle but he knows that and is working on it. He is a long jumper on the track team at Santa Margarita and runs the 4x100m relay. He played well against a Los Alamitos team loaded with great receivers last season. He showed the ability to stay with guys in short man-to-man coverage and has very good instincts. He is a little raw and needs more experience, but he has the tools and athleticism to be a Division 1 prospect this time next year. &nbsp;
