He is probably one of the top class of 2025 corner prospects in the country. He already has the length, speed and fundamentals of a high-ranking senior prospect. He is so fluid and transitions out of his back pedal smoothly. I saw him match up with some top receivers at the Under Armour Next All-American Camp, including the best receiver in the 2025 class [player_tooltip player_id="282767" first="Lamason" last="Waller"], and shut down most of them and stay in the pocket of all the receivers. He is putting on muscle this spring and that’s really all he can do right now to improve his stock. He is already committed to USC and is over 20 offers now.

Also a lengthy corner who is right up there with White among the top defensive backs in the state for his class. He has very good ball skills for a freshman and times his jumps and deflections very well. He can excel in man or zone coverage and lines up all over the field. He got a quality reps in a loaded secondary for the Monarchs and with the graduation of Cal signee [player_tooltip player_id="25274" first="Cam" last="Sidney"], he will likely be an every down corner this season. He is physical in man coverage and unselfish when coming up the field to stop the outside run. He has five offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Arizona, Washington and UNLV.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="282734" first="Chuck" last="McDonald"], Mater Dei
He has been getting work with the Premium 7on7 camp and he is one of the faster corners I have seen this offseason. He has long strides which help him close to the ball quickly and he has more muscle than a lot of freshman defensive backs. Mostly played JV last season but with some of Mater Dei’s top DBs graduating, I expect him to slide into a similar role Dixson had last season as a nickel. He has a good foundation and will only get better with more playing time. I expect him to be getting some offers in the fall if not sooner.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="282695" first="Jakob" last="Coleman"], Orange
Coleman is a versatile defensive back who plays a lot of man from the safety position. They also sometimes put him in the box to cover tight ends against 22 personnel. I think he works really well as a cover 2 safety who can play centerfield and help on deep balls. He has great timing on his jumps and has the speed to cover large chunks of the field. He got quality reps as a freshman against excellent competition in the first half of the season which helped his development. He needs to put on some muscle but he knows that and is working on it. Coleman has offers from Memphis, Liberty, Colorado State, Georgia Southern and Morgan State.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="282775" first="LaRue" last="Zamorano"], Santa Margarita
Zamorano is a really good athlete with a ton of upside. He is a long jumper on the track team at Santa Margarita and runs the 4x100m relay. He played well against a Los Alamitos team loaded with great receivers last season. He showed the ability to stay with guys in short man-to-man coverage and has very good instincts. He is a little raw and needs more experience, but he has the tools and athleticism to be a Division 1 prospect this time next year.
