Smaller guy who is a really good athlete. He is a slot guy who is tough as nails catching passes over the middle and absorbing hits. If you give him too much of a cushion in man coverage, Coronado has another guy coming on a crossing route and Bower can easily get lost in the shuffle and make a big play. He led the team in receiving last season with 411 yards and four touchdowns. He gets overlooked because of his size, but he is a good high school player who the Coronado coaching staff can have a fun time drawing up plays to get him the ball.

9. Deshawn Thompson, Mission Bay
Put up some solid numbers as a sophomore for a Mission Bay team with a good passing attack last season. He caught 19 passes for 314 yards and four touchdowns. He can line up split out or in the slot. He runs solid routes and really understands spacing with his other receivers. Thompson is pretty good at making plays after the catch and plays a lot bigger than his 5-foot-10 height. Needs to work on putting on some muscle and improving his speed, but a lot of guys make a big jump between their sophomore and junior year in those categories. Colleges may like him better as a corner when scouting him.

8. Colin Fagan, Bishop’s
Fagan is a really good athlete who plays receiver, safety and returns kicks. As a receiver, his strength is making plays after the catch. He is really effective on speed outs and screens but can also be a good deep threat when the offense creates mismatches for him. He caught 18 passes for 338 yards and four touchdowns last season for a solid Bishop’s team.
7. Quinn Garrett, La Costa Canyon
Garrett is taller than the guys behind him on this list at 6-foot-2 and his long strides help him with his speed. He is a good deep threat with a large catch radius. He does a good job beating guys on the outside in press man coverage. Garrett is very tough and can absorb big hits and hold onto the ball. He is a high academic guy too with a 4.3 GPA.
6. Jayden Williams Jayden Williams 5'11" | 190 lbs | WR Mission Hills | 2024 State CA , Mission Hills
Williams is mostly a slot guy who Mission Hills gets the ball to on swings or intermediate level out routes. He has good hands and has the ability to make circus catches. When he gets into the open field he has the ability to lower his pad level and pick up some speed. Plays for the High Intensity passing tournament team.
