Hudson Spivey Hudson Spivey 6'4" | 230 lbs | QB Pee Dee Academy | 2023 State SC , 6’4, 205 pounds, Pee Dee Academy, 2023
One of the most talented at his position in South Carolina’s SCISA ranks, Hudson Spivey Hudson Spivey 6'4" | 230 lbs | QB Pee Dee Academy | 2023 State SC picked up right where he left off in his junior campaign. His efficiency was through the roof with a 66.2% completion percentage and possessed a strong 27:6 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Spivey has a great vision at all levels of the field and a quick and confident release of the football. He can throw the deep pass accurately and does a textbook job of leading his receivers to the ball. Spivey performed well against the toughest SCISA competition and should be primed for an exceptional senior year.
Conrad Balder, 5’11, 165 pounds, Williamsburg Academy, 2024
A budding young quarterback with a variety of skill sets, Conrad Balder orchestrated a high-powered Williamsburg Academy offense that reached the 2021 SCISA 2A state title game. He is an efficient passer who rarely turns the ball over and has excellent escapability in and out of the pocket. Balder can throw accurately on the run and accelerate quickly with his legs through open seams. He is a great competitor who will never give up on a play and has the knowledge to make correct reads with the football on a consistent basis.
Donald Tomlin, 6’2, 200 pounds, Heathwood Hall, 2023
Donald Tomlin is primed for an excellent senior season for Heathwood Hall. He showcased his solid accuracy on deep passes and a crafty ability to make plays outside of the pocket and throw on the run. Tomlin’s arm can hurt opposing defenses in play-action, and he can also pick up yardage with the power of his 200-pound frame. If he can consistently make good decisions with the football, Tomlin could be a very effective signal-caller for the Highlanders this fall.
Duncan Skehan, Cardinal Newman, 2024
Duncan Skehan showed the potential for what could be a strong junior season in 2022. He never quits on a play and uses his strong arm and vision to find open receivers down the field. A terrific competitor with great creativity skills in the pocket, Skehan has the talent to shine in SCISA Class 4A and should find ways to improve over the next two years.
Christian Tilton, 5’8, 144 pounds, John Paul II, 2024
A dynamic athlete who has taken the reins under center for Chris Myers’ Golden Warriors, Christian Tilton could be one to watch over the next two seasons. The small but speedy quarterback can outmaneuver defenders with his quick first step and high-octane agility. He improved his throwing abilities throughout the season and could shine at the SCISA 3A level with a strong and accurate arm.
Asa Windham, Pinewood Prep, 2025
Carving out a solid role in his freshman season at Pinewood Prep, Asa Windham has fit right in as a leader of a high-powered Panther offense. He showed an excellent ability to throw on the run and scramble for extra yards while thriving as a passer in the red zone. With senior TJ Hatchett now graduated, Windham will get his shot in the starting role and look to cement a promising start.
