The Eagles had an explosive offense run by a senior quarterback, but the dominant offensive line is where it all begins. The highly talented front was comprised of three sophomores who are technicians of their craft. Matthew Jennings Matthew Jennings 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL Fountain-Fort Carson | 2024 State CO (G,C,T), Carson Caplan Carson Caplan 6'3" | 285 lbs | OL Pine Creek | 2024 State CO (G), and Tristan Randall Tristan Randall 6'3" | 265 lbs | OL Pine Creek | 2024 State CO (LT) were excellent in pass-pro and setting run blocks, making them a highly-talented offensive line core.

Marquis Williams Marquis Williams 5'10" | 185 lbs | ATH Pine Creek | 2024 CO (RB) and Kai Goetze Kai Goetze 6'3" | 230 lbs | TE Pine Creek | 2024 State CO (TE) are two offensive weapons who benefit from having such a phenomenal offensive line or add to it in Goetze’s case. Williams has excellent ball carrier vision and hits holes with force. Goetze is a sure-handed receiver with strong route-running skills and solid size.

In addition to the players listed above, there are a plethora of young players among the ranks that are worth being excited about, like Justis Nicholson Justis Nicholson ATH Pine Creek | 2024 State CO (ATH) and Luke Zimmerman Luke Zimmerman RB Pine Creek | 2024 State CO (RB,LB,LS).
Pine Creek had a relatively young squad that finished with a 10-3 record and a trip to the playoffs. They reached the third round before falling to the Chatfield Chargers, who went on to win the 4A state championship. This fall, the Eagles will be moving up into the 5A classification as part of a state-wide restructure that will move a bunch of teams to different levels. With their talent, the Eagles are poised to have outstanding seasons for years to come, regardless of the competition that is put before them.
