Cleveland is one of the top lineman in the North Bay and will anchor both sides of the ball for the Cougars. He has good size and twitch for the position and makes a big impact on the defensive side of the ball while able to eat up blocks and two-gap and collapse the pocket quickly. Playing with a violent shed and heavy hands, he is still working on pad level but makes up for it with natural strength and immediate knock-back.
DL Malik Dawson, Rodriguez HS
Dawson is athletic for his size and an explosive interior player that is versatile and can play anywhere along the defensive front. Although still raw at the position and developing technically, he has good closing speed and plays with a high motor and toughness against the run. He shows a few speed pass rush moves while working half man and uses his length to bat down passes and lock out blockers from his chest.
QB Trey Fasani, Ripon Christian HS
Fasani is a very accurate and athletic quarterback that has a high football IQ and is extremely efficient with the ball inside the pocket. He reads the field quickly and delivers a nice intermediate and deep ball with good spin and touch downfield while moving defenders with his eyes and working through his progressions quickly. On the run, he can throw across his body and take off if needed while doing a nice job at feeling pocket pressure and navigating through traffic. He is one of the top quarterbacks in the valley and can excel in the right system in college.
RB Raheem Holt, Vanden HS
Holt is a very physical downhill runner that has natural lean and can gain tough yards outside and has the speed to bounce it out when needed. Having a very strong build in his lower body, he bounces off tacklers through the first level and shows good vision in tight windows. Out of the backfield he can turn and make difficult catches on the run without losing speed and shows start/stop abilities in the open field as well. Look for Holt to have a breakout season for the State Champion Vikings.
LB Kaleb Larson, Rocklin HS
Larson is a throwback thumper that can play different positions and brings nice physicality and toughness consistently and has grown a lot physically since his Junior year. He is a big time hitter in the box and explodes through contact while reading plays quickly and a strong tackler inside and out of the box while flashing good ball skills for his size. He is also a big time special teams player and a wedge breaker on kick-off. Going into 2022, Larson will be one of the top linebackers in the very tough and well respected SFL.
