Park Hill South explosive 2023 athlete <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="103404" first="Briggs" last="Bartosh"] </strong>is gaining steam as a prospect.
In four and a half games last fall, the 5-foot-11, 185-pounder showed off his explosiveness with four rushing touchdowns, two punt return touchdowns, one kickoff return touchdown and even threw a touchdown pass for good measure. He rushed for 593 yards in five games as a junior, averaging 11.2 yards per carry, after rushing for<span style="font-size: 1rem;"> for 850 yards in six games as a sophomore.</span>
Bartosh picked up two big offers this month — from Air Force on April 6 and from Army on April 15 — and should continue to pick up momentum as he shows out on the camp and combine circuit.
<strong>KICKAPOO’S LINK ADDS THREE OFFERS</strong>
Kickapoo 2023 standout <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="103406" first="Andrew" last="Link"]</strong> has had a good month.
Link, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end and tight end, kicked off the month with his first Division I offer from Air Force on April 2. He added an offer from Brown on April 12 and an offer from Southeast Missouri on April 29.
Link, who had previously received an offer from Southwest Baptist in early March. is a high academic – he has self-reported a grade-point average of 5.0 – who is a first-team all-conference, all-district and all-region honoree.
<strong>CHAMINADE DB GETS FIRST OFFER</strong>
Chaminade 2023 cornerback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="263302" first="Derek" last="Fields Jr"]</strong> received his first offer from Ball State on April 29.
A 6-1, 175-pounder, Fields earned first-team all-Metro Catholic Conference honors as a junior last fall after recording 52 tackles.
<strong>PARK HILL QB ADDS TO OFFER LIST</strong>
Park Hill 2023 three-sport standout <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="177888" first="Kendrick" last="Bell"] </strong>has had an interesting football offseason.
Bell, an athletic 6-3, 175-pound quarterback who also plays basketball and competes in track, received his first offer from the University of Massachusetts on January 17, making him the second Class of 2023 quarterback in Missouri to get a Division 1 offer.
It took a few months, but Bell now has his second Division I offer. He received an offer from Northern Iowa on April 27.
Bell is a really intriguing prospect with his size and athleticism and has the potential to move to another position in college if he doesn’t work out as a quarterback. He passed for 2,267 yards and ran for 313 yards during his junior season and accounted for 30 total touchdowns.
<strong>RICHMOND PAIR RECEIVE FIRST OFFERS</strong>
Richmond 2023 offensive tackle <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="262422" first="Jack" last="Gogue"] </strong>has rare size as a lineman at 6-8 and 270 pounds and is an intriguing prospect.
Gogue, who played right tackle for Richmond last season as a junior and also plays basketball and baseball, received his first Division I offer from Eastern Michigan on April 14. He should attract plenty of interest over the next few months as more schools see him.
Gogue’s first offer came a few days after his teammate, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="262394" first="Hunter" last="Bowman"]</strong>, received his first offer from Lindenwood University.
Bowman is a 6-4, 215-pounder who plays defensive end and tight end but could also end up as an outside linebacker at the next level. Bowman earned second-team Class 2 all-state honors as a defensive lineman last season.
<strong>CBC DEFENSIVE BACK GETS FIRST OFFER</strong>
CBC 2023 cornerback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="218450" first="DeShaun" last="Richmond"] </strong>wasn’t one of the Cadets’ better known players during their state championship run last fall, but has a chance to be a big player as a senior.
Richmond was a back-up for most of the season, behind cornerbacks who signed with Ball State and Murray State, but was inserted into the lineup late in the campaign after an injury to one of the starters and played well.
A 6-1, 160-pounder, Richmond received his first offer from Lindenwood University on April 7. He could end up attracting a lot more attention this fall as college coaches get to see him play more snaps.
<strong>EUREKA OL ADDS ANOTHER OFFER</strong>
Eureka 2023 offensive lineman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="103440" first="Justin" last="Selbert"] </strong>picked up his first offer from Indiana State back in February. Selbert, a 6-4, 265-pounder, has since added an offer from Lindenwood on April 4.
The Missouri offensive line group in the Class of 2023 is pretty strong and Selbert is a prospect to keep an eye on.
Selbert’s teammate, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="329814" first="Trenton" last="Groff"]</strong>, is another intriguing prospect to watch. A 2023 prospect, Groff is a 6-4 and 235-pound tight end and linebacker with a 3.97 GPA. Groff racked up 42 tackles and three sacks and caught five passes for 59 yards as a junior, but he also contributed as a run blocker for a team that rushed for more than 2,500 yards.
<strong>MICDS OL GETS FIRST OFFER</strong>
MICDS 2023 offensive lineman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="262277" first="Nate" last="Schuckman"]</strong> received his first offer from Lindenwood University on April 27.
Schuckman is a 6-6, 240-pounder who earned Class 4 first-team all-state honors last fall and should have another strong season as a senior this fall.
