Continue ReadingLT2FBA is a scouting and training program based in Dallas, Texas that focuses on skill development and exposure. Today was the inaugural O-Line versus D-line Trenchwars competition. The camp was held in Ft Worth, Texas at Eastern Hills High school and included a bevy of talented athletes. The big fellas listed below came out to compete and put on great performances.
Joshua McMurray-Creekview High School – Class of 2023
Josh is a rising 2023 prospect out of Creekview High School in Carrollton Texas. He is stout interior prospect that had a good first day back in the training lab. Coming off an injury he had an impressive day and did a great job in his movement patterns along with taking the drills from the meeting to the practice field. He displayed good feet, posture and a strike that is improving. Along with playing guard or center he can long snap as well. I was impressed with his ability to redirect while staying in posture.
Jack Tanner Jack Tanner 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Marcus | 2024 State TX – Marcus High school – Class of 2024
Jack has had a huge summer and has competed at a high level at every event that we have seen him at thus far.
The 6’6 tackle has a long frame, smooth kick, and has shown the ability to anchor on the bull rush. He has taken an intentional approach to his development and has made noticeable improvements with his hand placement and punch timing. He has shown why he has demanded such a high early ranking thus far.
Caleb Hackleman- Pleasant Grove High school – Class of 2024
The 6’5 270 pound tackle is a long, lean, and versatile athlete that is versatile enough to play tackle or guard. He has reported an early offer Texas Tech University and will be a national recruit by the end of next fall. He has done a good job at developing his kick slide and his striking has improved tremendously.
Jonathan Schwartz – Broken Bow – Class of 2025
Jonathan made the trip down from Broken Bow Oklahoma and was impressive in his first in-person LT2FBA event.
He is a massive offensive tackle that measures in at 6’8 and weighs over 340 pounds. He had one of the best days of skill work that I’ve seen out of him so far today at camp. His sets were clean and he has impressive flexibility for a young guy his size. With his length and size the sky is the limit for someone with his mindset and potential. Jonathan is doing a great job pushing himself and developing his technique thus far this summer and I can’t wait to see how he plays next fall.
Christopher Larkin – Eastern Hills Highschool – Class of 2023
Measuring in at 6’2, and weighing in at 310 pounds Chris is a stout prospect out of Eastern Hills that has done a good job owning his development. His single leg strength has reportedly gotten a lot better since training a few months back. He is a natural center that can also long snap. His departure from the line of scrimmage has improved and his off hand usage on the snap and trigger has become more natural for him.
