LT2FBA Report – Most Electric Players In Texas

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">While living and training all over the state of Texas I have had the privilege of being able to watch a bevy of talented student athletes up close. The young men listed below are some of the most electric players that the state has to offer going into next fall. </span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="60868" first="David" last="Hicks"]</strong> - Paetow High school - Class of 2023 </span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>David</strong> is a 6’4 270-pound defensive end who is pound for pound one of the most electric players in the state. He has a great get-off, powerful hands, throws a violent rip, and runs to the ball.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"> He is a menace off the edge and a handful for any high school offensive tackle, he has nearly 40 offers and holds a 3.5 grade point average. He recently announced his transfer to Paetow high in Katy, Texas where he will follow his father who was recently named assistant head coach. </span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="60850" first="Jalen" last="Hale"]</strong> - Longview Highschool- Class of 2023</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Jalen</strong> is a 6’1 175-pound All-American receiver out of Longview Texas. He is a shift playmaker with the ability to take the top off of the defense. He reportedly finished with 50 catches, 1154 yards, along with 14 touchdowns. He is an elite athlete they recently ran a 10.56 100-meter dash time with little prep. Georgia, Ohio State, Colorado, and Alabama are a few of the names that are after the game-changing receiver.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="146597" first="Zina" last="Umeozulu"]</strong> - Allen High school - Class of 2024 </span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Zina is a dynamic Edge rusher out of Allen Texas. He makes the list of most electric players because he has the ability to take over a game. He has an explosive get off and has shown the ability to bend and win on the edge with violet hands. He has looked unblockable at a few camps so far and will be a huge cog in the Allen Eagles play off hopes this next season. He has offers from almost every program in the country and it will be interesting to see where he lands as his recruitment plays out. </span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136129" first="Anthony" last="Hill"]</strong> - Denton Ryan High school - Class of 2023</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Anthony is a special talent and is regarded as one of the best linebackers in the country. </span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">He has elite closing speed, great hips, and was very reliable against the run on tape last fall. He has offers from virtually everywhere in the country and is a game-changer. He has great sideline to sideline speed and is a linebacker that opposing play-callers have to game plan around. Anthony and a bevy of his talented Denton Ryan teammates are returning and looking to bounce back after a heartbreaking playoff loss against College Station.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="146601" first="Ethan" last="Terrell"]</strong> - Lewisville High school - Class of 2024 </span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Ethan</strong> is a rising quarterback prospect who is mobile, accurate, and not afraid to step up in the pocket. He is coming off of a huge fall where he led the Lewisville High Farmers to a historic year. He is explosive with his legs on the ground and has a huge arm and a boatload of potential and intangibles. He </span><span class="s1">also spent time training with quarterback guru Devin Gardner this off season and is primed for another year of high octane and big plays.</span></p>
