<strong>LAKE CITY COLUMBIA</strong><strong> 2022</strong> <strong>Head Coach:</strong> Demetric Jackson <strong>2021 Record:</strong> 6-5 <strong>THE TIGERS</strong> When this program beat Orange Park, 42-14, back on October 15^th of last year, they were 6-2 and looking much like they do every year. Loaded with quality prospects, the Tigers had rolled to wins over Delray America Heritage (46-23), Orange Park Oakleaf (27-23), Jacksonville Englewood (41-18), Jacksonville Westside (27-9), Jacksonville Riverside (28-26) and Orange Park (42-14) 0 while losing to state powers Jacksonville Bolles and Jacksonville Trinity Christian. Just when this program was rolling, Madison County, Jacksonville Raines and Riverside in the state playoffs came – and instead of a stellar season – 6-5 happened. Enter a new head coach and plenty of off-season optimism as the Tigers entered the spring with a solid senior class, loaded with talent and leadership, and some impressive underclassmen, who are ready to put this thing back on the rails.
