Bhatka suffered a collarbone injury that derailed his sophomore season but he is back and throwing with his teammates in 7on7 tournaments. His release is on the slower side but he has the arm strength to throw a nice deep ball. His feet are wide apart when he throws and he could get a little more power on his intermediate and short throws if his feet started closer together and ended up wide upon release. All of his film is from 7on7 and he makes the right decisions with the ball which is good, and it will be interesting to see if his decision making is still good with pads and a pass rush. Huntington Beach graduated a quality senior quarterback so Bhakta has a chance to be the starter in 2022.

Joey Roberts, Rocklin
Roberts was one of two quarterbacks who got significant playing time for a very good Rocklin team last season and there is a lot to like about his game. The first thing that I noticed was that despite being on the shorter side at 5-foot-10, he always kept his eyes down the field onto the secondary even under pressure. He’s a pocket passer but a good enough athlete to improvise and make plays with his legs when he needs to. Roberts is very accurate to multiple levels of the field and throws a good deep ball. He had a really talented receiving corps last season and the three best targets are graduating so we will see how he is with a worse supporting cast. He has a tendency to eye down his primary target which is something I am sure he is working on with coaches this offseason. But his decision making and accuracy are very good.
Blessed to be an All Metro honorable mention and even more proud of all my teammates who were All Metro too, Excited for whats to come! @SacBee_JoeD @SacBeeSports pic.twitter.com/zahEVtLjV4

Reyn Beal Reyn Beal 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Yorba Linda | 2023 State CA , Yorba Linda
Beal has been a very good quarterback for Yorba Linda the past two seasons. I saw him at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and it wasn’t his best day and he will admit that. The first thing I noticed on his film is his arm strength. He throws good deep balls from the run and finds a way to get his whole body into his throws even when he can’t plant his feet. He’s great at selling the play action and hitting guys in stride in man coverage. Beal has great chemistry with his receivers and it’s clear the coaching staff has a lot of trust in him. Sometimes he goes for the home run ball against zone coverage instead of taking the easy single and checking down, but he’s earned the right to take those chances.
Never had so much fun at a camp. Great coaching and great receivers. Thank you Coach Fish and @Throw_2_Win for the invite. pic.twitter.com/XWi7vecF92

Indiana Wijay Indiana Wijay 6'5" | 190 lbs | QB Pasadena | 2023 State CA , Pasadena
Wijay transferred to Pasadena from Chaminade and has a good chance to start with freshman quarterback Hype Grand Hype Grand 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB Pasadena | 2025 State CA transferring to La Habra. I saw him throwing for one of the Premium passing league teams at a competition in January and his accuracy is impressive. He is 6-foot-5, has a long and smooth release and knows when to throw hard and when to put some touch on his passes. He has offers from Houston, Georgia Southern and Arkansas State.
Another GREAT day competing in the Rose City! 🌹🌹🌹 @Coach_Maxie626 @CoachReg_626 @GregBiggins @BrandonHuffman @Rivals @247Sports @Elite11 @QBHitList pic.twitter.com/LkmArWFGtI
