The small town of Cooper, Texas – population 1,990 – has a true hidden gem in Class of 2024 OT Ross Moody.
The Bulldogs run a triple option offense, so Moody is asked to cut block a majority of the time. However, the sky is the limit for him.  No telling how good he’ll become once he gets into a spread system.
Moody is a gifted blocker with a nice combination of length and athleticism. In the ground game, he plays mean. He’s able to bend at the knee well, play with leverage, and overpower defensive linemen at the point of attack.  I’d like to see a bit more explosion, but I think it’s safe to say he is on his way to some big things, once his name starts making the rounds.
Will undoubtedly work his way onto recruiting boards this season.

SS Jacquese Hurst — 5’10” 170 / Grand Prairie HS — @Hurst_Jacquese / Class of ’23
Plays outside linebacker for the Gophers, but will need to make the move to safety at the next level, due to his size.
Hurst flashes some nice sideline to sideline speed and is not afraid to come downhill to make plays in the backfield. He is a tough player who has a great motor and fights hard. He does need to get a bit faster, but there is a lot to like about this Dallas-area playmaker.

G Braylon Dickerson — 6’3″ 320 / Grand Prairie HS — @BrayKasino / Class of ’23
As a run blocker, Dickerson has heavy hands that he uses to dominate defenders at the line of scrimmage. He gets under the pads of defensive tackles and can easily get them out of their gap. In pass protection, he anchors well and can stand up bull rushers with ease. Additionally, he has very nice footwork and moves well laterally.
The All-District selection from a year ago plays through the whistle, and should find a college home with a top-tier Division 2 program.

WR/KR Christian Pitts — 5’11″ 160 / Pearland HS — @Christian_p04 / Class of ’23
Led all of Class 6A last season with 41.2 yards per kick return. Over 1,000 all-purpose yards.
The first thing that you notice about Pitts is his playmaking. He consistently gets separation from defensive backs and can take over a game at any moment. He tracks the ball well, and can make the tough catch over the middle, in traffic. Given his ability to get open on intermediate routes, would be a good third down weapon.
Not the biggest receiver, but he has great speed, plays hard, and can deliver in the biggest moments.

WR Jaeden McCleskey — 6’4″ 185 / Pearland Dawson HS — @JaeMcCleskey / Class of ’23
McCleskey is a high upside wide receiver prospect who, as you’ll see in the 7v7 film below, is really starting to blossom heading into his senior season. He’s a big, physical wideout who runs great routes and has nice hands. He’s a reliable, consistent outside weapon with elite leaping ability, who high points the football. Keep an eye on this impressive WR in Pearland this fall.
