Kenneth Wilson Jr | 5’8’’ 160 lbs | Wide Receiver | Showtime Prep Academy (MD) | Class of 2023
Wilson visited Towson’s campus and was impressed with the structure of the team’s practice and their coaches. The speedy receiver is one of the more explosive players in the DMV area and his playing style is comparable to NFL star, Tyreek Hill. He won the 2A State Championship in the 55 meter dash this past winter with a time of 6.65, and is already off to a great start this spring track season with a 10.9 personal best in the 100 meters. He is currently undefeated in the 100 meter races since the start of this track season, and his times will continue to drop as the temperature does during the spring. Meanwhile, his recruiting stock will continue to heat up.
Collin Sewell | 6’ 200 lbs | Athlete | Walkersville High School (MD) | Class of 2023
Sewell was another athlete that was on campus at Towson this weekend. He’s an all around athlete that can play both sides of the ball. He finished the regular season last fall with 18 receptions, 421 yards, 2 touchdowns, 36 tackles, and 1 interception. Sewell is a student athlete who is just as competitive in the classroom as his is on the field. 4.5 is what he’s listed as running in the 40 yard dash and as his GPA. He currently has offers from Dartmouth and Memphis.
MarcAnthony Parker | 6’1’’ 210 lbs | Linebacker | Riverbend High School (VA) | Class of 2023
Parker was one of the more decorated athletes on campus. He was named 2nd Team All Area, 1st Team All District as a Linebacker, and 2nd Team All District Tight End. He tallied 102 total tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble, 2 recovered fumbles, 2 sacks, 6 QB hurries, 2 interceptions, 1 pass break up, and 1 pick 6 last season as a junior. His accolades plus his 4.1 GPA makes him a very attractive prospect for colleges. He received an offer from the Towson coaching staff during the visit, and also has offers from Bucknell, UPenn, William and Mary, and Monmouth. He is also receiving interest from Navy, Virginia Tech, Harvard, James Madison, and Richmond.
Nnamani Walker | 6’2’’ 215 lbs | Linebacker | Independence High School (VA) | Class of 2023
Walker was another athlete who was in attendance at Towson University this past weekend. The Class of 2023 Linebacker led his team in tackles this past season, and was a big part of their success on the defensive side of the ball. Independence HS started off the season on a 7-0 run before losing the last couple of games and losing to Stone Bridge HS, the eventual State Champ, in the 1st round in the Virginia State Playoffs.
Noah Brannock Noah Brannock 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB Calvert Hall | 2023 State MD | 6’ 200 lbs | Quarterback | Calvert Hall College High School (MD) | Class of 2023
Brannock, the number 1 ranked Quarterback in Maryland, was another who received an offer from Towson University during his visit last weekend. He is a 1st Team All Metro and 1st Team All Conference MIAA A recipient. Brannock has been busy making his college rounds this spring with visits to Holy Cross, Fordham, Georgetown, William and Mary, Yale, and Monmouth. All are schools who have already offered the QB. His athletic resume in addition to his 3.9 GPA, makes him one of the top recruits in the area.
Luke Watson | 6’5’’ 265 lbs | Saint Mark’s High School (DE) | Class of 2023
Watson isn’t from the DMV, but plays in Delaware about 30 minutes outside of the Maryland border. He was another athlete who earned an offer from the Towson coaching staff last weekend. He is a DIFCA 1st Team All State Offensive Tackle and Defensive End, All Division Lineman of the Year, and Team Captain. He has offers from Columbia, Fordham, UMass, Monmouth, Dartmouth, William and Mary, UPenn, and Delaware. He recently has visited Princeton , Villanova, Temple, Toledo, and ODU.
