Aug. 26 — Allen, Texas
Allen is one of the top teams in the nation and its 18,000 seat stadium should be filled to capacity for this game. Five star defensive end [player_tooltip player_id="146597" first="Zina" last="Umeozulu"] has 21 offers including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Texas, USC and others. Bosco has more talent on paper, but this will be a tough environment with a lot of humidity against a team who is not afraid of them.
Sep. 2 — Bishop Amat
Amat has one of its best teams in years. They have seven players in the class of 2023 ranked on Prep Redzone: [player_tooltip player_id="190272" first="Tiumalu" last="Afalava"], [player_tooltip player_id="145208" first="Delano" last="Franklin"], [player_tooltip player_id="190351" first="Aiden" last="Ramos"], [player_tooltip player_id="145195" first="Raiden" last="Brown"], [player_tooltip player_id="145213" first="Corey" last="Johnson"], [player_tooltip player_id="25439" first="Dominic" last="Bryant Rubio"] and [player_tooltip player_id="240019" first="Hunter" last="Watson"]. Bishop Amat’s strength is its receivers and Bosco’s strength is its secondary so this is a strength on strength game. Bosco blewout Amat last year and I think the gap is too much to overcome.
Sep. 9 — Central Catholic, Oregon
Two of the best tight ends in the nation are in this game in Uiagalelei and [player_tooltip player_id="104685" first="Riley" last="Williams"]. [player_tooltip player_id="110189" first="Joe" last="Merlino"] and [player_tooltip player_id="270081" first="Beau" last="CressAllen"] are excellent offensive linemen and [player_tooltip player_id="110241" first="Solomon" last="McDaniel"] can stop the run. This game will be played in Autsen Stadium. Bosco is the better team on paper and should win this one.
Sep. 17 — Kahuku, Hawaii
Three of the top 10 players in the state of Hawaii go to Kahuku. Linebacker Liona Lefau, linebacker Leonard Ah You and safety Brock Fonoimoana. This is part of the "Trinity League vs. the World" weekend at St. John Bosco. The Braves should dominate this one.
Sep. 23 — Central Catholic, CA
Central Catholic is a team from Modesto that will be a nice tune up game for Bosco before beginning Trinity League play. [player_tooltip player_id="25420" first="Jaelen" last="Nichols"] is a good athlete for Central Catholic who is still waiting for his first offer. [player_tooltip player_id="273623" first="Brooklyn" last="Cheek"] is a lengthy safety who should draw some college interest.
