Arizona is a unique state when it comes to football talent. The majority of the top programs never really fall off, they just reload. Today, we’ll take a look at six Arizona prospects who are currently wrapping up their eighth-grade school years. However, these prospects in the class of 2026, all look like they’ll be getting a lot of attention early.

The son of former NFL'er Kyle Vanden Bosch, Bastian looks like he's ready to carry the torch of playing on the next level. NFL blood lines aside, he's a special talent on both sides of the ball. As a tight end he catches the ball like a receiver and is a mainstay on the 7v7 scene. Not just a one-trick pony, Vanden Bosch can also line up with his hand in the dirt and blow people off the ball.

Standing 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds, Segall is the complete package as a wide receiver at this point. Tracks the ball downfield with ease. Displays terrific adjustment abilities and body control when required. Not a complete burner at this point, but is a run-after-catch threat with the vision and finishing ability of a back.

An athlete with a huge upside at a number of positions, it will be interesting to see where he ends up as his career moves to high school. He's a long athlete at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds and that size allows him to dominate defensively as an outside linebacker/defensive end, and offensively as a wide receiver/running back. Bottom line, he's an athlete with a high ceiling once he settles in at a position.

A big, thick interior defensive tackle with violent hands and an incredible motor. Stands 5-foot-11 and 280 pounds with elite quickness off the snap of the ball. He’ll be off to Salpointe Catholic next year, joining his older brother Jaxson Banhie. Both should contribute significantly on the varsity level this upcoming fall.

Already standing 6-foot-3 and 176 pounds, Burnstein has the potential to be the pass-rusher in the state of Arizona by the time it’s all said and done. Was verified at a 4.81 in the forty yard dash at the Rivals camp earlier this spring. Dad played at Arizona State and the football ability did not skip a generation. Currently playing spring football and leads a defense that hasn’t been scored upon.

Out of all the Quarterback’s I’ve come across this off-season in Arizona, Pico is the most complete signal caller by a good margin. A legitimate dual-threat quarterback with a verified 4.85 time in the forty yard dash and a 106’ broad jump, he can beat you in so many ways. The only thing holding him back right now is being just 5-foot-8 and 143 pounds--however, he will grow in high school.
