Team Full Gorilla (TFG) and Ducks7v7 came together for a friendly scrimmage at the Denver Broncos practice facility this past Sunday.
Not only did it give the players on each team an opportunity to compete, but the scrimmage also allowed for a lot of the state’s talented players to showcase their skills. 7-on-7 matchups are great ways for quarterbacks, receivers, and running backs to polish their offensive skills in the passing game, while also providing defensive skills players with the same opportunity.
This article will take a look at seven QBs who stood out during the scrimmage.

Once you watch Dorman throw, it quickly becomes obvious as to why the Arizona commit is the number one-ranked 2023 QB in the state and one of the top-ranked QBs in the country. [player_tooltip player_id="22741" first="Kaiden" last="Box"] | Skyline | 6’4”, 195lbs | 2023
Box is the backup QB for TFG’s 18U team, but that does not mean that he is anything less than phenomenal. He has a big-time arm that allows for him to drop bombs on target or rifle passes into tight windows with great accuracy. One thing that immediately stands out about him, besides his physical stature and huge arm, is how quick he comes out of his drops. This allows for him to get his feet underneath him and set them a half-second quicker than average. Box has an incredible upside to his potential, making him a serious sleeper as a shot caller.

Palladino can drive the ball down the field through the air with confidence and precision, earning him the spotlight with every passing attempt.

Risner is an under-the-radar player strictly because of circumstance; however, he has been getting serious shine as a Ducks7v7 QB. He has great strength in his arm and the ability to throw receivers open. His footwork is smooth and his ability to go through his progressions and make any throw on any level is very impressive. Risner is one varsity start away from claiming real estate among the top QBs in his class.
