Some of the best players in the area were at the event and it was difficult to get a good look at every player. Here are the players from Arizona who stood out to me.
QUARTERBACKS
Jamar Malone II, Higley – Malone is very big for a class of 2025 quarterback and he won the accuracy award for the quarterbacks at the camp. To put that in perspective, there were multiple five star quarterbacks there including a USC commit and the top quarterback in San Diego. He puts tremendous touch on the ball and had good timing with the receivers that he had just met. I saw him throwing some short out routes with some zip on the ball as well. Malone has four offers from Iowa State, Arizona, Louisville and Northern Arizona.
Thank you @uanextfootball for the invitation to the UA Next LA Camp Series.
The experience was amazing and the recognition/award as one of the camps TOP PERFORMERS capped the day! 4ever GRATEFUL!
A special thanks to @demetricdwarren@craighaubert @TomLuginbill and @theucreport pic.twitter.com/DCHcVyNmEZ

Demond Williams Demond Williams 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB Basha | 2024 State AZ , Basha – It’s no surprise that Williams performed well at the camp considering he is the top class of 2024 quarterback in Arizona. He is not a very big guy at under 6 feet tall and 160 pounds, but he had one of the best arms at the camp. His deep balls look effortless and he was hitting receivers in stride all day. He also could fit balls into tight windows on the short routes. He visited UCLA over the weekend as well.
Really liked what we saw once again from 2024 QB Demond Williams of Chandler (Ariz.) Basha at #JCFlightClub. Competitor with a great feel, quick twitch athlete with very high upside https://t.co/dCptAjZDEv pic.twitter.com/OZo4Gz6l5k

RECEIVERS
Earnest Spivey, Hamilton – Spivey is 6-foot-4 and uses his length to get jump balls and box out defenders. His speed is very good and he has a large catch radius. He is the son of former MLB player Junior Spivey and is also a baseball player at Hamilton. He is one of the only players in the West with an offer from Wisconsin and he visited UCLA over the weekend. Washington State offered him the day after the camp as well.
After an amazing conversation with @BWardDCoord I am very excited to announce that I have been offered by Washington State!! @Coach_Fila @bangulo @TomLuginbill @JUSTCHILLY @TheUCReport @Husky_Football7 @Coach_Demory pic.twitter.com/agfubxe4lT

Myles Libman Myles Libman 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Pinnacle | 2023 State AZ , Pinnacle – Libman wasn’t the biggest receiver at the camp but he looks much more muscular than the 180 pounds in which he is listed. He was getting open on the deep balls and showed impressive speed in the agility drills. He is sure-handed and can make catches near the sideline and when he is well-covered. Libman has offers from Arizona, Columbia, Penn and Portland State.
Had an amazing time competing at the Under Armor Camp Circuit. Thank you @TheUCReport @CraigHaubert @DemetricDWarren for the invite! pic.twitter.com/BJ49cwfkUm

OFFENSIVE LINE
Ryan Blum Ryan Blum 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL Basha | 2023 State AZ , Basha – Blum was one of the offensive lineman MVPs and was one of the top centers of the day. He has good balance and manages his 275 pound frame well. His hips are usually square in pass protection and he has quick feet. He really impressed the scouts during the one-on-one period and made an impression on the scouts seeing him for the first time. Blum has offers from New Mexico State and Northern Arizona.

Caleb Lomu Caleb Lomu 6'5" | 260 lbs | OL Highland | 2023 State AZ , Highland – Lomu is lengthy and has room to put on some more size without sacrificing his quick feet and athleticism. Do not try to spin inside or club inside on him because he will plant that inside leg and bury you into the ground. He has all the tools and is far from a finished product which makes him intriguing to college coaches. He has offers from Arizona, Cal, Arizona State and Washington among others.
Had a great time competing this weekend at the @UANextFootball combine! Excited to keep working! @TheUCReport @JUSTCHILLY @CraigHaubert @HighlandHawksFB pic.twitter.com/JVhIueHuJ9

DEFENSIVE LINE
Elijah Rushing Elijah Rushing 6'6" | 255 lbs | DL Salpointe Catholic | 2024 State AZ , Salpointe Catholic – Rushing is a big dude at 6-foot-5 with an 81 inch wingspan. He is an edge rusher in every sense of the word and has muscle definition at 225 pounds. He has room to put on some more muscle but he may not want to if he wants to be a linebacker at the next level. There was a rep where the offensive lineman did not touch him and when he does engage he makes himself skinny and it’s difficult for the offensive lineman to get his hands on him in the right place. Rushing has 11 offers including Michigan, Oregon, Utah and Washington among others. He was also offered by USC on Tuesday.

DEFENSIVE BACKS
Genesis Smith Genesis Smith 6'2" | 190 lbs | DB Hamilton | 2023 State AZ , Hamilton – Smith is lengthy at 6-foot-2 and covers large chunks of the field. He is listed near 190 pounds but he looks skinny with room to add some size. He was in the pocket of receivers on deep balls constantly and can use his length to deflect balls. Five schools are in early on him including Arizona and San Diego State.
Miles Lockhart Miles Lockhart 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB Basha | 2024 State AZ , Basha – Lockhart isn’t the biggest guy, a couple inches under 6 feet and has room to add some muscle, but he was able to hang with some of the top receivers during the one-on-one period. He is a solid underclassman defensive back who turns his hips well. Lockhart has six offers including Arizona, Colorado and Iowa State among others.
