Find me another junior high school football player who can bench press 185 pounds 18 times, and run 4.7, good luck. [player_tooltip player_id="300704" first="Trey" last="Brueggemann"] stands at 6’0 220 pounds and can run sideline to sideline with anybody. Brueggemann tackles well and has a unique instinct for the ball. The question isn’t whether he can play at the next level, it’s where he will play at the next level? Watch the tape! Rocco Orsini (2023) | 6’0 230 MLB | Rochester Adams Rocco is your old-school, prototypical MIKE linebacker. Orsini was the backbone of Rochester Adam’s defense that won the OAA-W and competed for a division 1 state championship. He finished his junior season with 60 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, and 4 sacks. He reads and reacts well and stops ball carriers in their tracks upon contact. At 230 pounds, Rocco runs extremely well and is a good tackler. He has a natural instinct for the ball and is a good run stopper. Rocco will lead a Rochester Adams defense that will try to make another appearance in the Division 1 state title game this Fall. Deshawn Willis (2023) | 6"0 210 MLB | Holly If you haven’t been to Holly Michigan, I think it’s time to take a trip to watch Deshawn Willis play on the natural grass field. Deshawn Willis’s ability to disrupt plays in the backfield was on display throughout his junior highlight film. Willis had tremendous success on the blitz last season and showed a unique ability to time-up opposing offense’s snap counts. Willis shows his athletic ability on the offensive side of the ball where he’s seen busting long runs and catching passes out of the backfield. Look for Willis and Holly to make a splash in their conference this year. He is an incredible athlete and can run sideline to sideline with anyone. At 6’1 225 pounds, Courser totaled 122 tackles in 10 games earning himself All-League honors in 2021. Courser will compete at the Division 1 level in the Catholic League and play one of the toughest strengths of schedules around. Look for Courser and that Shamrock defense to make a deep run in the 2022 playoffs.
