Ohio Capital Conference Top 2023 – Central Division

Central Ohio is loaded with talent in the 2023 and 2024 classes like the rest of the state.  This series will focus on the league breakdowns for the 2023 class. <strong>Dublin Coffman</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189492" first="Will" last="Smith"]</strong>, DL - By far one of the best players in Ohio and committed to Ohio State.  He stands 6’3 and weighs 250 pounds.  He is fast, physical, athletic, and aggressive.  He is a game changing DL in the run and pass game.  He is very flexible in his stances and explodes on the snap with great bend in the knees and a flat back.  He gets to lockout quickly and reads plays well.  Has the ability to anchor down on run to and chase it down on run away.  Relentless pass rusher with a couple of good moves.  Has the ability to change direction quickly. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13034618/Will-Smith">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13034618/Will-Smith</a> <strong>Hilliard Bradley</strong> <strong>Emmanuel (EJ) Teah</strong>, Hyrbid OLB/S - Emmanuel Teah has one of the best films I have seen so far from a Junior season.  He plays a SS/OLB hybrid position and is a master of many different techniques.  He is also one of the best athletes on defense in Central Ohio and can take on blocks, make aggressive tackles, and cover with closing speed.  He is really twitchy and has great hips.  Please watch this film and consider an offer.  Absolute stud. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13151060/Emmanuel-Teah-Jr">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13151060/Emmanuel-Teah-Jr</a> <strong>Hilliard Davidson</strong> <strong>Jayden Phillips</strong>, RB/WR - First and foremost, Jayden gets it done in the classroom with a 3.27gpa.  He is a multi-dimensional dynamite athlete.  He plays on both sides of the ball and multi position.  On offense he is dynamic with the ball in his hands and can score anytime he touches the ball.  At RB he is patient with a great burst.  At WR he runs very good routes and gets open in space with soft hands.  On defense he plays CB and does a great job in man or zone coverage.  Very impressive player with great upside. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13287642/Jayden-Phillips">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13287642/Jayden-Phillips</a> <strong>Olentangy Orange</strong> <strong>Michael Clouse</strong>, QB/SS - Michael played behind a Central Ohio star at QB this past season but saw time.  He also player FS on defense.  He is a really good athlete with open field wiggle and toughness when tackled.  He stands tall in the pocket and scans his reads well.  He throws on rhythm with velocity.  At FS he caps the coverage well with eyes on the QB.  He has good technique in the run and pass and gets downhill quickly.  Keep an eye on him at camps. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/7954840/Michael-Clouse">https://www.hudl.com/profile/7954840/Michael-Clouse</a> <strong>Olentangy Liberty</strong> <strong>Caden Minniti, </strong>CB/FS - Very athletic CB who can stay on top of the deep ball with the quicks to transition quickly on short and intermediate throws.  Was really impressed with his aggression and tackling in the run game.  He flew up the field all season long, shed blockers, and made really solid tackles.  He has very good patience and technique in both positions.  He wins on the 50/50 ball routinely.  Very good hips and flexibility. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13003411/Caden-Minniti">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13003411/Caden-Minniti</a> <strong>Upper Arlington</strong> <strong>Collin Ansel</strong>, Hybrid DE/Edge - Collin is an absolute beast of a DE/Edge.  He has a motor which never stops and plays with his hair on fire.  He has great bend in his stands and explodes off the snap.  His punch is devastating and gets to lockout quickly.  He reads run/pass well and transitions after the first two steps quickly.  I am impressed with his pass rush ability.  He rushes half a man and has a couple of great moves with good finish at the QB.  Keep a good eye on him at camps this offseason. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/9212174/Collin-Ansel">https://www.hudl.com/profile/9212174/Collin-Ansel</a> &nbsp;
