We are going to cover all of the news going on with football prospects in the state of Arkansas, whether it be competitions or recruiting news. This article will shine a spotlight on the prospects having a busy week this week.

The Booneville linebacker has had a busy few days on the baseball diamond this week. In a victory over the Charleston Tigers this week, Goff went 2-3 with a home run and two rbi’s. The Bearcats picked up a victory over Charleston that night 11-1. As we have discussed before, Goff is a great athlete and that is showing up on the football field, track, and the baseball diamond. Keep an eye on Goff throughout the spring, the young man is just getting going.
[player_tooltip player_id="228033" first="Tayshawn" last="Edwards"]-Wide Receiver-Warren-2027
The Warren Lumberjack is going to have a busy weekend this weekend. Edwards is going to be attending the Football University Camp in Dallas over the weekend. He is a wide receiver that is going to create headaches in the future for a number of defensive backs in the future. Edwards has good speed and is another Warren playmaker that has an extremely bright future. Look out for Edwards coming up through the ranks.
[player_tooltip player_id="209859" first="Parker" last="Brown"]-Running Back-Heber Springs-2024
[player_tooltip player_id="209859" first="Parker" last="Brown"] is a prospect that I look forward to seeing more of this season. He is a versatile running back that can split out at the wide receiver position. Brown picked up all-conference in basketball this week. However, he was not finished, he proceeded to take first place in the 200 meters, third in the 100 meters, first in the high jump, second in the long jump, and third in the triple jump. Brown has shown some great explosiveness and is a prospect that is setting the bar for some more quality performances as 2022 season heats up.
[player_tooltip player_id="75141" first="Donovan" last="Whitten"]-Quarterback-Arkadelphia-2023
Donovan is a quarterback with a strong and accurate arm. He does a great job of throwing into tight windows and hitting his wide receivers in stride. Whitten is going to have a busy weekend. He makes the trip to Baton Rouge for the Elite 11 quarterback competition. Whitten will be competing against the best quarterbacks in the country; however, I like his chances there. He has proven to be one of the most talented quarterbacks in the state of Arkansas and should perform well.
[player_tooltip player_id="149539" first="Hunter" last="Marshall"]-Offensive Line-Farmington-2024
[player_tooltip player_id="149539" first="Hunter" last="Marshall"] is a talented center that works on an extremely talented offensive line for the Farmington Cardinals. The young man is worker, and he is always improving his craft, getting in plenty of workouts during the week and on the weekends in Northwest Arkansas. Marshall has a busy weekend in store for him, getting in work at the Football University camp in Dallas. Marshall is a prospect to keep an eye on over the next two seasons, he is student of the game and I look forward to seeing him more this coming season.
[player_tooltip player_id="75136" first="Garrion" last="Curry"]-Running Back-Magnolia-2023
The 2023 running backs class in the state of Arkansas is a talented group. Tennessee-Martin has done a good job of recruiting the Natural State with a strong intensity. Curry received a scholarship offer earlier in the week from Tennessee-Martin. The Magnolia running back has great speed and is someone that can take it the distance from anywhere on the field. Curry has the potential to receive more scholarship offers over the next few months.
