Montgomery County Class of 2023 Breakdown (Offense)

Now that the rankings are in it's time to look into the top-ranked guys from Montgomery County. There is plenty of talent and these guys should stand out next season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="246840" first="Kendell" last="Anderson"] | 6'3 QB | Blair</strong> Anderson is the 2nd ranked quarterback in Maryland in the class of 2023. He can easily make an argument for first. He can make throws at all 3 levels. He has a strong arm. He also shows great touch and accuracy on throws downfield. He is also athletic and can make throws on the move. Anderson is an elite prospect and will be a D1 product. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="90665" first="Ashton" last="Gaddis"] | 6'2 QB | Poolesville</strong> Poolesville started to open up the offense last season which allowed Gaddis to rise in the rankings. He is a true dual-threat athlete. He can push the ball downfield and has amazing ball placement on deep balls. He also has good velocity on his throws to fit the ball in tight windows. He is also a great ball carrier and is a tough runner that is hard to bring down. Expect Poolesville to let Gaddis show off his talent next season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="200618" first="Evan" last="Taylor"] | 5'9 RB | Poolesville</strong> Taylor is currently ranked in the top 100 in Maryland in his class. He is a very productive runner. He has great vision and always seems to hit the right hole. He runs hard and pumps his legs through contact which allows him to do a great job of fighting for extra yards. Taylor is a very tough runner and will continue to put up good numbers. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="260204" first="Jamall" last="Worrell"] | 6'2 WR | Blair</strong> Worrell is a big-play receiver that has the potential to shoot up the rankings throughout the year. He has enough speed to get in behind the defense and burn them deep. He also has strong hands and can bring down contested balls. He also is a good route runner and always seems to get himself into open space. He is dangerous after the catch and can make big plays from nothing. Worrell is an exciting prospect, expect him to shoot up some boards. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249839" first="Joseph" last="Tabe"] | 5'11 WR | Springbrook</strong> Tabe is a dangerous receiver. He does his best work after the catch. He can take screens and short routes and make them big plays. He has good moves with the ball and makes people miss in space. He also has enough speed to take the top of the defense. He runs solid routes and is able to get open downfield. Tabe is a fun player that will have some explosive highlights. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="183999" first="Aven" last="Williams"] | 5'10 WR | Blair</strong> Williams is an underrated receiver that will raise his stock. He runs very good routes and is dangerous working the middle of the field and working the sideline. He does a great job of fighting for position on contested balls. He has great body control and has amazing range for a 5'10 receiver. He also can make people miss in space and can make big plays after the catch. Williams will look to improve his numbers next season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="180896" first="Zachary" last="Anderson"] | 6'2 T | Quince Orchard</strong> Anderson is the top offensive lineman in Montgomery County. He is a do it all lineman. He can play tackle, guard, and center. In the run game, he mauls defenders. He does a great job of driving people downfield. In pass protection, he has great footwork on his pass drops. He also does a great job with his hands and always seems to get inside position. Anderson is an elite lineman and will have many colleges knocking on his door.
