In the open field, Carter is dynamic. He can use his shiftiness to leave tacklers grasping the air, but he can also run right through the defender. Carter can also contribute on the defensive side of the ball at cornerback.

Get him on the perimeter and Marcus can create an explosive play. He also does well between the tackles. He can find the opening and dart through the hole. Marcus does well in the screen-game. He is a reliable pass-catcher who can turn up field and gain chunk yardage. He is great at making opponents miss and can give the offense energy. [player_tooltip player_id="109631" first="Grayson" last="Thomas"] is a downhill runner who sets the pace for the offense. Thomas can attack the line and put the front seven under pressure. He shows good vision, and he does not second-guess himself- putting his foot in the ground and getting right after it. Thomas can also bounce outside and turn it into a big play. When the space is not there, Thomas embraces the contact. He can run behind his pads and break tackles.

In his first two seasons of high school football, [player_tooltip player_id="109627" first="Jalen" last="Thomas"] demonstrated his skill. Now heading into the second half of his career at Yorktown, Thomas looks poised to put on a show. Last year, Thomas registered 94 carries for 372 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Through the air, Thomas adds a lot of value to the offense. In 2021, he caught 15 passes for 87 yards.
