Gideon Davidsondee Gideon Davidsondee 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Liberty Christian Academy | 2025 VA | 5’11” 185 lbs | Liberty Christian Academy
Davidson is the top ranked Running Back in the state and can make a strong argument for the best in the country. He is also ranked as the 3rd overall prospect in the state. This speedy RB was named as a Freshmen All American, 1st Team All Region, and named to the 2nd Team All Region as a Defensive Back. He led Liberty Christian Academy to a 13-1 record, Regional Championship, District Championship, and to State Runner Up. He already has a lot of what college coaches are looking for in size, speed, great vision, and power. Speaking of speed, he recently ran a 11.2 in the 100 meter dash. He currently holds offers from Penn State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Virginia, and Louisville.
Michael Dabney Jr | 5’7” 175 lbs | Life Christian Academy
(see Stock Risers) Dabney makes the largest jump on our rankings list for the class of 2025, jumping 18 spots from number 23 to 5. Life Christian has a strong history of getting their players to the next level, and I’m sure that Dabney will not be any different. He currently has offers from Boston College, Maryland, and Pittsburgh.
Harry Daltonfdbd Harry Daltonfdbd 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Dinwiddie | 2025 VA | 6′ 195 lbs | Dinwiddie High School
Dalton was hampered by injury for a couple of weeks during the early part of the season, but he helped Dinwiddie’s rushing attack explode once he returned. He was a big part of the school’s first undefeated regular season in 5 years and top ranking within Region 4B. Missing several games, he managed to run for 661 yards, averaged over 9 yards per carry, and scored 10 touchdowns. It will be exciting next year to see what he can do as a sophomore with a full season. Dalton is the 3rd ranked back on our list and the 7th overall prospect.
Leon Clark | 5’9” 185 lbs | Norfolk Christian
(see Stock Risers) Clark makes a huge jump from the 20th ranked overall player to the 8th ranked player. He was an extremely productive player on both sides of the ball rushing for 866 yards on offense, and finishing the season with 70 tackles, 4 sacks, and 11 tackles for a loss. Clark being one of the most productive freshmen in the country earned him 2nd Team All State honors as both a Running Back and Defensive Back. To date, he has offers from Duke, University of North Carolina, and Maryland.
Darvin Gregory Darvin Gregory 5'8" | 170 lbs | RB Dan River | 2025 State VA | 5’8” 170 lbs | Dan River High School
Gregory is the 10th overall prospect in the state of Virginia and the 5th ranked running back. He ran for 660 yards, averaged close to 5 yards a carry, and scored 5 touchdowns this past season. Dan River struggled early in the season, going win-less for several weeks until ending the season on a 3 game winning streak. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Gregory started to hit his stride around that time. He ran for 453 the in the month of October alone for the last 4 games. Look for Darvin “DJ” Gregory and Dan River HS to carry that momentum into next season now that it appears they have found their mojo.
