Quarterback is the toughest position in football but the Quarterbacks in the class of 2024 played great as Sophomores in 2021. Here are five Quarterbacks from the class of 2024 who are looking to have a great Junior season in 2022.

JJ Sebert JJ Sebert 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Olentangy Liberty | 2024 State OH is the 6th ranked QB and the 38th ranked player overall in the class of 2024. In 2021, he helped the Olentangy Liberty Patriots offense score 33 points or more four times and his very good play as a Sophomore was a bright spot in their 5-6 season. He displays good arm strength as he passes the ball far with good velocity on a rope. He is able to improvise and deliver an accurate ball on a broken play. He shows excellent elusiveness as he avoids several defenders while he picks up a first down on his own. He shows good competitive toughness and play strength as he runs over a LB on the goal line for a TD.

He shows great mobility in the pocket as he avoids the rush from LB and DL with ease. He displays good accuracy while on the move as he rolls out. A dual threat at the position, he uses his very good athletic ability and play speed to outrun all defenders for a long touchdown run. In 2021, he helped the Northwood Rangers offense score 42 points or more three times and average 23.9 points per game. He does a great job of placing the ball on the correct shoulder of the receiver which maximizes yards after the catch leading to a big 1st down or a touchdown. He shows good athletic ability and play speed to pick up yards on his own while demonstrating great contact balance as he breaks tackles from LB and DB. In addition to being a talented QB, he also shows great talent as a LB as well.

His great play last season as a Sophomore in 2021 was a bright spot in the 2-9 season of the Walnut Hills Eagles. He has a powerful arm as he can pass the ball 40+ yards on a rope. He demonstrates good accuracy as he throws receivers open. He shows good ability to avoid the rush with good elusiveness as he makes athletic defenders miss and is able to pick up significant yardage on his own.
