JSerra (San Juan Capistrano) class of 2023 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="261722" first="Edward" last="Schultz"] announced his commitment to Colorado last Friday. Schultz is a big body receiver at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds. He had 335 yards on 21 receptions with three touchdowns for JSerra as a junior and is a good kick returner. He has been a key contributor for the OC Elite Blue Sky 7-on-7 team this offseason. He told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he loved his visit to Colorado last month and is excited to work with receivers coach Phil McGeoghan. He said that Louisville, Tennessee, UCLA, Washington and Utah are the five schools that are sticking out to him at this point in the process. Shannon said that he is planning a visit to Michigan in April. "I definitely want to take all five officials," Shannon told Huffman. "Im thinking I’ll take maybe 2-3 in spring and then the rest in the fall. I won’t graduate early, though, I plan to finish out the school year." Since then he got his first Division 1 offers from Colorado, Hawaii, San Diego State, Arizona and New Mexico State.
