Time to flip to the defensive side of the ball! We have just as many studs ready to be stolen on this side of the ball as we do on offense! We start with the defensive trench monsters where there is a stable of studs. Each one of these kids can and should be playing at the next level. Take a look at the film! Let’s dive in! [player_tooltip player_id="118643" first="Alex" last="Winters"], 6’3" 215- DeForest Alex has a frame that has all the length you could want at the D2 level, and he has plenty of room to add the weight needed to be able to play at the next level. Winters’ lateral agility is the key to his game and success at the high school level. He is able to slip past OL with that and a quick first step. His hand fighting will need to continue to improve, but at times he flashes the hands to create separation that allow him to use that lateral agiltiy. His pursuit and relentless play show off his high motor and effort. He is a raw talent and an athlete that needs to continue to bulk up, but he has all the quick twitch, agility traits you could want. Alex currently holds offers from Concordia- St. Paul and Southwest Minnesota State University. Alex’s Senior Season [player_tooltip player_id="31231" first="Gabe" last="Alyousef"], 6’2" 275- Oak Creek Coaches this doesn’t happen often! We have a first team All- State DL still available in February. The big man also has a 3.5 GPA, so the academics look to be on point. This is a huge steal. The big dude is stout against the run thanks to next level strength, shed ability, and toughness. He has heavy hands that allow him to control linemen, toss them to the side and then make the tackle. He also has surprising range and a high motor that allows him to make plays outside of where you would expect. Gabe owned the trenches in 2021, and he can do it at the nexxt level. He is under the radar, and that can’t continue at this stage in the process. Get on him today! Gabe’s Senior Season [player_tooltip player_id="31308" first="Mila" last="Stephens Jr"]., 6’ 350- Catholic Memorial We have an immovable stud still available out of Waukesha. The first thing that jumps off the tape is his quickness and first step. You don’t expect a kid that size to move as easily as he does, but there it is on the tape and it creates a ton of havoc. He is able to get a lot of push and penetration on the interior making it difficult for offenses to get anything going on the inside. Mila is also able to shed blocks well and make the tackle leading to 60+ tackles this past season. I believe he will need to trim down a bit to succeed at the next level, but it isn’t as much of an issue as maybe expected. He can get it done. D3s could get a big steal here. Check him out. The stout defender can make a next level impact. He was a key piece to a strong Muskego defense as he wreaked havoc off the edge. He has the tools to be a well balanced defender at the next level. Steven has shown that he can make plays against the run and pass equally. Against the run, Steven has proven that he can fit off blocks, but he is at his best wrong shouldering linemen coming to kick him out or making them miss all together. Against the pass, Steven has a high motor and reliable hand fighting that gets him to the heels of linemen. His high motor puts him in position to make a lot of plays downfield or across the field. Steven’s Senior Season [player_tooltip player_id="118311" first="Joshua" last="Boardman"], 6’2" 200- De Soto Joshua is going to have to make his mark as a pass rusher because he doesn’t have the size to be a three down player at the next level. Luckily for him that is where his strengths lie. Joshua has next level first step explosiveness that instantly gives himself the advantage on his way to the QB. I like watching through his tape because he is very technically sound. He has an innate ability to keep containment and he closes just as quickly as he flies off the line. Teams need to take a look at this dude because he could be a scary third down pass rusher for a team. D3 programs can’t pass up taking a look. Joshua’s Senior Season
