February has been a month full of new offers across Georgia this month and many prospects are in the middle of seeing their recruitment take off. Here are a few prospects who have had a big month of February on the recruiting trail...
Ny Carr - 2024 WR - Colquitt County
One of the top young playmakers in South Georgia, Carr is a big-play waiting to happen and was a touchdown machine for the Packers last fall. As a sophomore in 2021, Carr caught 40 passes for 856 yards and 13 touchdowns. Playing against some tough competition each week, Carr proved that he was a reliable weapon who could score on any particular play. The 6-foot-0 170-pounder is quick, explosive, and has a true nose for the endzone. His stock continues to rise every day, and he’s had a big month of February, earning offers so far from Georgia, Michigan, and South Carolina with more likely on the way.

Stephiylan Green - 2023 DL – Rome
One of the fastest-rising DE prospects in the state, Green was once considered an "under the radar" prospect, but he can no longer hold that title as he’s seen some major offers come his way in February. The big 6-foot-4 270-pound defensive end is explosive off the ball and extremely quick for someone his size on the interior. He has enough size and raw athleticism to play multiple positions along the defensive line and has his best football ahead of him. Green picked up offers this month from Ohio State, Florida, Auburn, Notre Dame, LSU, among others.

BJ Gibson – 2024 WR - Wilcox County
One of the top overall athletes in the 2024 class across South Georgia, Gibson is a two-sport star who is currently committed to play baseball at Tennessee. He’s a dynamic athlete at wide receiver who can torch a defense with his speed, athleticism, and ability to run routes down the field. He creates separation with ease and is really quick in and out of his breaks. He’s a natural runner with a knack for getting behind defenses. He’s a playmaker on special teams with the ability to take back punts and kickoffs back for a big gain. He’s a true weapon whenever he’s on the field, and he’s starting to see his recruitment take off. The Rochelle native has had a big month on the recruiting trail, adding offers from Georgia, Texas A&M, earned recent offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Texas A&M with more likely on the way.

It was only a matter of time before we saw Lew’s recruitment really take off after a dominant junior season last fall. One of the top interior offensive line prospects in Georgia, Lew is a strong, physical lineman who helped lead Kennesaw Mountain to one of their best seasons in school history. He plays hard, he has good size and length at 6-foot-4 280-pounds, and can play multiple positions on the line. He’s a productive run blocker and got his opponent on the ground often throughout last season. His versatility stands out to college coaches, and he has a frame that should allow him to continue to put on more size and muscle over the next few years. He’s an aggressive blocker who plays with balance and body control, using his strong hands to push and drive defenders backwards. An impressive center prospect with a 4.4 GPA, Lew earned some major offers in February from Georgia, Kentucky, and Penn State with more likely coming this spring.

Another explosive athlete who can play on both sides of the ball, Kilgore was a big-play threat all season in 2021 and made just about very catch matter on offense. The 6-foot-2 190-pounder from Eatonton is an outstanding safety prospect who made 88 tackles and causes four fumbles. He’s a hard-hitting, physical defender in the run game, but he has excellent hands as well and knows how to come down with the football. As a receiver, Kilgore caught 37 passes for 921 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s a dynamic prospect and it’s led to D1 offers this month from Florida, Vanderbilt, Troy, Louisville, UCONN, Indiana, and Eastern Michigan.
