SD State Wrestling: PRZ Dakotas Prospect Tracker

We love our football at Prep Redzone Dakotas, but man do we also love duel sport athletes. Over the years, I have really evaluated and been able to tell when football players are also dominate on the mat during winter wrestling season. It’s due to their contact level and physicality they lay out on every play is how we can really tell the difference. The best combo sport to me for those offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers, defensive backs is wrestling due to what I mentioned above. However, when I skim this list below, I absolutely love how many skill players are also outstanding wrestlers in South Dakota. With this piece, we tracked down each ranked Prep Redzone Dakotas prospect and see how they are doing at the South Dakota State Wrestling tournament in Sioux Falls at the Denny Sanford Center. To our count, we were able to find 32 ranked players from Classes 2022 thru 2024 that are competing this weekend in Sioux Falls. <strong>Note</strong>: When it says they advanced to the semifinals, I am stating they are still in the hunt for a state title on the mat!
