Daniel Jones (2023) | 6’0 CB | Walter Johnson
Jones is a good outside cornerback for Walter Johnson. He has good ball skills and does a great job of tracking the ball and making a play on it. He is versatile in coverage as he can line up in man coverage and press receivers, but he also has the ability to play off coverage in zone. He has great instincts as he always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Jones had a solid season and has the potential to build on it next year.
Samuel John Jr (2023) | 5’8 CB | Springbrook
John is a dynamic cornerback. He has great speed so he is able to keep up with receivers on deep routes. He also makes up for his lack of height with a good vertical. He does a great job of high pointing the ball and coming down with contested balls. He also is a very good ball carrier which makes him a threat to take picks back for six. John is an exciting prospect that is extremely fun to watch.
Alhaji Conde (2023) | 6’1 S | Springbrook
Conde is an athletic safety. He has good size and uses his body well. He can be a ball-hawking deep safety that roams the middle. He also does a good job of coming down in-run support. He is a very good prospect that has the frame college coaches look for. Conde has a chance to have a big breakout season.
Jalen Scott (2023) | 5’10 CB | Walter Johnson
Scott is a very technically sound corner. He has great footwork and does a great job of getting inside position on receivers. He is a traditional cover corner but he is a very willing tackle. He is also a key special teams player that makes tackles in open space on special teams. Scott is a very good corner and will look to have another solid season.
