Several top football players in Southern California signed letters of intent this week and a few are still making decisions.
Now that the second signing day has passed, it is time to take a look at which colleges did the best job recruiting in Southern California, a region loaded with top tier talent.
Oklahoma lost some high-powered recruits wen Lincoln Riley left the school for USC, but Brent Venables had a nice late signing day flipping two of Southern California’s top prospects. St. Augustine’s [player_tooltip player_id="25239" first="Gracen" last="Halton"] flipped from Oregon to the Sooners. He is one of the most versatile defensive linemen in the state. Leuzinger’s [player_tooltip player_id="141880" first="Kevonte" last="Henry"] was long committed to Michigan but flipped to Oklahoma on signing day. Henry is an elite outside linebacker and was impressed by Oklahoma during his visit in January despite a late push by Arizona.
