He’s a great combo of get-off, strength, and athleticism. He can disrupt by simply walking his man into the backfield, but he can also slip a gap and penetrate. While his natural talent is great, he’s clearly work on his pass rush technique and hand fighting this offseason from what I saw at our Prep Redzone Pennsylvania even. McCullom is a Power 5 kid who is already garnering interest from the likes of Pitt, Cincinnati, Boston College, Ohio State and Penn State.
DL Jordan Prichard-Sewell (Archbishop Hoban) 6’2 250- Jordan has a really interesting skillset. He’s athletic enough to play in a 2 point and he’s strong enough to put his hand on the ground. That being said I expect him to grow into a full time interior line player. His athleticism and ability to disrupt translate. Sewell is always looking to make a play. He’s very active whether it’s working to beat his man, whether it’s in pursuit, or whether it’s jumping up to bat a pass. He’s active and he’s aware. I’m very excited to see how he continues to grow and develop. I project him as a D1 with P5 upside.
DL Ted Hammond Ted Hammond 6'5" | 260 lbs | DL Saint Xavier | 2024 State OH (Saint Xavier) 6’5 260- At 6’5 260 Ted obviously has great size. He does a great job of standing up offensive linemen and either walking him back or shedding his man to make the play. Schematically he excels as a two gapper. I project him to the nose tackle in a 4-3 or the defensive end position in a 3-4. This offseason he’s picked up offers from Miami of Ohio and Temple University. With an offseason to fill out, get stronger and work on his technique I think he’ll start to get P5 attention this fall.
EDGE Elias Rudolph Elias Rudolph 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL Taft | 2024 FL (Taft) 6’4 220- Rudolph is a young man I first saw last spring at a big man camp as a player just coming off of his freshman season. Though raw, his length and athleticism stuck out. His length is exceptional. What I noticed in his sophomore season though is how physical he has become. He’s really starting to find develop his strength and physicality. Make no mistake about it though, his length and athleticism are where his bread is buttered. I listed him as an edge, because at this point, I think he’s versatile enough to play DE in a 4-3 or OLB in a 3-4. He can beat his man off the edge on the LOS, but his ability to run plays down from the backside is where you say he has the speed and athleticism to play in space as a linebacker. He holds offers from the likes of Kentucky, West Virginia, Pitt, and Cincinnati. This offseason I really believe his interest could transition into the blue blood offers.
DE Andrew Hanchuk Andrew Hanchuk 6'5" | 230 lbs | DL Berea-Midpark | 2024 State OH (Berea-Midpark) 6’5 225- Andrew is a young man who’s flying under the radar right now, but he won’t be for long. He’s a P5 caliber defensive end. He has great combo of length, get-off, and athleticism. Hanchuck is able to use his get off and athleticism to beat many offensive tackles. He has a nice shoulder dip to win inside, and he has the speed to get to the edge. When he beats his man, he shows great discipline and gap responsibility. Andrew currently has interests from schools such as Pitt, Penn State, and Cincinnati, as well as several MAC schools. He’s a kid I expect to explode with P5 offers over this offseason and throughout his junior season as his contact period starts.
