2024 Rankings Risers: DB

<em>California is a hotbed for elite DB talent and SoCal’s 2024 class is no exception. [player_tooltip player_id="273548" first="Isaiah" last="Buxton"] and [player_tooltip player_id="115429" first="Marquis" last="Gallegos"] headline this list of stock-rising DBs after producing breakout sophomore seasons and each picking up several D-I offers along the way. </em> <b>[player_tooltip player_id="273548" first="Isaiah" last="Buxton"]- DB, Mater Dei Catholic</b> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Buxton was a major stock-riser after some impressive playoff performances including 2 INTS and a pick-six in the state championship game. He’s a major D-I shutdown corner with elite ball skills and coverage instincts. He’s effective playing press-man or zone, using his length to disrupt routes on the front-end and showing timing and ability to read QB eyes dropping into zone.
