The players rankings were recently updated by the staff. There were 17 linebackers in the group for updates. This is a two-part series where I am going to review the entire group. Series 2 will cover the remainder of linebackers for review.

Angus is a threat on offense, rushed for 1,186 yards and 11 TDs. He will continue to improve his skill set during off-season training. He finished the season with 13 total tackles and runs well in the open field. Brayden will continue to improve his skill set during off-season. He displays good technique on physical tackles. Cahari displays explosive bursts of speed to get him into the backfield for tackles for losses. He finished the season with 101 total tackles and 18 tackles for losses. Cahari will continue to improve his skill set during the off-season. Alexander displays good speed and runs well in the open field. He closes quickly on the ball carrier for the stop. Alexander displays good lateral movement and good technique on solo tackles in the open field. He finished the season with 19 total tackles and 2 tackles for losses. Alexander will continue to improve his skill set during off-season training. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="173283" first="Chase" last="Christopher"], 6’1" 210, Holly Springs HS, (No. 17 LB, No. 141 Overall)</strong>. Chase displays explosive acceleration to get him into the backfield, often unblocked to make the stop. He displays solid technique on physical tackles and follow through. He runs well in the open field covering a lot of ground quickly to close in on the ball carrier for the stop. Chase finished the season with 150 total tackles, to include 127 solo tackles and 23 assisted tackles, 10 sacks, and 21 tackles for losses. The 127 Solo Tackles were the highest of any player in the 2023 class. He will continue to improve his skill set during off-season training.
