<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>CB, Shequan Walters, Don Bosco Prep</strong></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em>6’1180</em></span>
Mr. Walters had a solid junior season. Walters is a versatile defensive back that can play numerous positions in the secondary. He is lengthy and aggressive at the point of attack. Walters is a solid tackler and showed flashes of playmaking abilities. He has quick feet and good instincts. Walters finished the season with 8 tackles, 1 TFL and one interception. Now that his feet are wet on the varsity level you should expect Walters to enter the 2022 season more comfortable and with plenty of confidence.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><b>CB, Jameel Parrott, Edison </b></span>

Mr. Parrott had a solid junior season. He has the size to play numerous positions in the secondary. His biggest asset is his tackling ability. Parrot has a good understanding of leverage and where his help is. </span><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">He is the type of athlete that does his job to help his teammates succeed. Parrot finished the season with 17 tackles and 2 TFL’s. He will be a huge contributor for next season.</span><i>

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><b>CB, Michael Strachan, Edison </b></span>

Mr. Strachan played a big role in their winning season. Strachan has good size and talent for the next level. He played a lot of positions in the secondary. Strachan thrives when he plays in the box and close to the line of scrimmage. He plays with good eyes and hands. He does a good job defeating blockers to get to the ball carrier. Strachan finished the season with one sack, 4 TFL’s, 42 tackles and one FF. He will be a key factor heading into next season. His team will depend on him to make plays which I know he will.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>CB, Zaphee Griggs, Overbrook</strong></span>
<em>5’10 170</em>
Mr. Griggs contributed tremendously during the 2021 season. He is someone quarterbacks fear throwing to. Griggs has excellent ball skills and football IQ. He is quick and sudden in his breaks and plays with good leverage. Griggs understands route concepts and formations that allows him to be in position to make a play. He finished the year collecting 28 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 interception. Griggs is someone you should keep an eye on heading into next season. He is poised to have a breakout year in 2022.
