Team Full Gorilla, Colorado’s premier 7-on-7 club program, held its tryouts this past weekend and hosted nearly 200 athletes from across the state.
The two-day event took place at the UCHealth Training Center (the practice facility of the Denver Broncos) with laser-timed combine drills on day one and live competition on day two. After the second day, awards were handed out to the players who had the top results — official numbers have not been given out as of yet — from combine drills among the 15U and 18U age groups.
Fastest 40-yard dash
The 40-yard dash is one of the more talked about combine drills because it is all about speed. The fastest player for the older age group was [player_tooltip player_id="271108" first="Tyson" last="Clark"], a 2023 cornerback for the Eaglecrest Raptors. Clark put on an impressive showing during the event, displaying his talents as a technical DB with ball-hawking instincts. He moves well in coverage and has natural sense for the ball when it’s in the air.
[player_tooltip player_id="212251" first="Kobe" last="Dooley"] clocked the fasted 40-yard dash time for the younger age group. This 2026 ATH is a very talented young player who has shown serious promise from such an early stage in his time playing the sport. Dooley is a shifty receiver who carves out crisp routes through the secondary. He also proved to be a true playmaker as a defensive back.

Fastest pro shuttle
The pro shuttle is a drill that tests an athlete’s explosiveness and acceleration, among other things. The player with the best time for the 18U group belongs to 2023 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="215284" first="Jazel" last="Riley IV"]. Riley IV, the eighth-ranked QB in the class per Prep Redzone CO, garnered a ton of attention over the weekend because of his abilities as a passer and his 6-foot-2, 210 pounds frame. During his junior campaign at Golden, Riley IV threw for more than 2,100 yards and ran for just over 1,000 yards.
The fastest time for the younger group belongs to [player_tooltip player_id="210078" first="Jayden" last="Rin"], a 2026 wide receiver who is expected to add his name to Pine Creek’s roster next season. Rin is a definite radar pop-up who stood out all weekend, especially during live competition. He showed that he is a difficult receiver to cover and a reliable option for his QB.

Longest Broad Jump
The broad jump is a modified version of the long jump and it is done to measure a player’s lower body strength and balance. The longest broad jump for the 18U group was performed by 2023 WR [player_tooltip player_id="22771" first="Tucker" last="Peterson"]. Peterson, the sixth-ranked WR in the class, will be entering his final season as a significant part of a dominant Roosevelt team in the fall.
[player_tooltip player_id="251308" first="Xavier" last="Neto"], a 2025 ATH at Grandview, finished with the longest broad jump for the 15U group. Neto is no stranger to winning end-of-camp awards at such an early stage in his high school career, making him one of the top underclassmen to keep an eye on as a recruiting prospect.
