There are plenty of pass rushers who get after the QB in Atlanta and the surrounding area, and many of them are seeing new offers come their way.
Here are some Atlanta-area defensive linemen who have earned new offers this week…
AJ Hoffler AJ Hoffler 6'5" | 245 lbs | DL Woodward Academy | 2023 State GA – Woodward Academy
One of the fastest-rising DE prospects not only in Atlanta, but across the state, the 6-foot-5 245-pounder from Woodward Academy is in the middle of seeing his recruitment take off since as he was able to get to the QB with ease last fall. He’s a terrific pass-rusher and has proved it this year with 9 sacks. When he meets the ball-carrier, he knows how to deliver a big hit. He’s great in pursuit and finds a way to rip the ball out when he gets there. He’s a guy who demands double teams, and if he doesn’t, he’s going to make a big play. He holds impressive offers from Ohio State, Auburn, Penn State, among others and earned new offers this week from Florida State and Cincinnati.

Joshua Horton – EDGE – Langston Hughes
A long, athletic edge defender at 6-foot-5 275-pounds, the Fairburn native had a big offseason and followed it up with a strong junior campaign. He was excellent at the point of attack and was dominant against the run. His length allows him to handle opposing tackles and his raw strength allows him to set the edge as well as anyone in the area. He made 81 total tackles last fall with 7 TFLs to go along with three sacks and eight QB hurries. He’s a run stuffer who will likely play inside at the next level and help clog the running lanes between the tackles. He’s had a nice week on the recruiting trail and offers an offer this week from LSU, Georgia Southern, and West Virginia.

Javeon Miller – Creekside
The Creekside Seminoles had an incredible 2021 season this past fall and they have plenty of D1 talent on the roster. One of them is junior pass-rusher Javeon Miller who terrorized QBs all season so far. Miller’s size won’t blow you away, but he just has a knack for getting into the backfield. He’s lined up against some quality offenses last season, but nobody was been able to stop him. Miller has found the QB 22 times as a junior. He’s as productive as it gets and uses his quick hands and feet to get around bigger tackles. Look for Miller to be one of the state’s leading sack artists once again next season.

Tyler Walton – North Gwinnett
One of the most underrated defenders across the state just last week, the North Gwinnett standout is finally starting to see some offers come his way. A big-time playmaker off the edge at 6-foot-4 230-pounds, he was a QBs worst nightmare last season as a junior, totaling 48 tackles, 8 sacks, 17 TFLs, 3 Forced fumbles, 4 recovered, and 5 PBUs. There’s plenty of D1 talent on their roster and Walton is one of them. He went up against some of the best competition in Georgia and showed quickness off the ball, strong hands, and great pursuit of the QB. He’s long, athletic, and can absolutely play at the D1 level. He’s earned recent offers from Boston College, West Virginia, and Coastal Carolina.
