Players are getting bigger, faster, and stronger each year, and there’s a chance the 2025 class will be a deep enough to where colleges across the country will come to check out the talent.
Here are some impressive 2025 players to know about for the rest of the season…
Jordan Allen – ATH – Buford
One of the top young athletes in Gwinnett County, the Buford Wolf may be on the smaller side this second, but he’s a great athlete for his class who can make plays on offense, defense, and special teams. It”s tough to earn playing time as a freshman at a place like Buford, and while he hasn’t played a ton just yet, he’s someone who has a lot of potential as he grows and sees the field more. He’s quick, has impressive burst, and can be dangerous with the ball in his hands. He’s a twitchy athlete and one that a lot of people will know about this time next year. He earned a recent offer from Liberty and could see more come his way soon.
AGTG!! Truly Honored and Blessed to receive an offer from Liberty University! @mauricejharris @LUFBRecruiting @Coach_Davis22 @ChadSimmons_ @CoachApp35 @Mansell247 @BHoward_11 @JeremyO_Johnson @SWiltfong247 @RWrightRivals @TomLoy247 pic.twitter.com/0LjdySpylF

Elijah Griffin – DE – Savannah Christian
One of the top overall defenders in South Georgia, Griffin had an exceptional freshman season last fall and already looks like a major D! prospect. He has incredible size for his class at 6-foot-6 280-pounds and can overpower older offensive linemen with ease. His length and raw strength allow him to get off blocks and he does a great job of closing on the QB. He runs well with his size and he already knows how to deliver a big hit. Watching him play, you’d never know he was just a freshman, but he is. He’s totaled over 69 tackles and made 8 TFLs to go along with 3.5 sacks. He’s a prospect to keep a close eye on over the next few years who has earned offers this month from Louisville, Iowa State, Kentucky, among others.

Mason Short – Right Tackle – Evans
One of the top young offensive line prospects in the state, the Augusta-area freshman has a really impressive frame at 6-foot-6 275-pounds with long arms and big hands. He already looks like a SEC-caliber prospect and attended camps in the past at both Georgia and Notre Dame. He looks the part physically and has plenty of room to fill out and add muscle. He started all season at right tackle as a freshman and has the potential to grow into a really strong prospect sooner than later. He could move over to left tackle eventually with his length and overall frame, so he’ll be a prospect to know about for the immediate future. Short earned new offers this week from Minnesota and Georgia Southern.
I’m truly blessed and honored to receive my first big 10 offer from the University of Minnesota! #GoGophers @GopherFootball @Coach_Fleck @CoachHarbaugh @barrettdavis4 @EHSKnightsFB @RecruitGeorgia @CoachATroutman pic.twitter.com/6w5uUwxP9o

Dontrell Glover – Left Tackle – Langston Hughes
An impressive young tackle prospect from the Atlanta-area, Glover moves really well for his size, and he has plenty of it at 6-foot-3 290-pounds. He attacks the defender in the run game and does a nice job of pushing his opponent backwards. He bends well and shows impressive footwork for someone his age and knows how to get to the 2nd level and get to the linebacker. He’s still raw, but he started every game at left tackle last season as a freshman and is seeing offers come his way. He recently earned an offer this week from LSU and many more are likely on the way.
