Season Recap: Pierce Bluejays

Today we are recapping the great season for the Pierce Bluejays. They just came off a State Championship and hopes were high, they might not have had the same record but they still had a great season ending with a 10-3 record and being state runner-up’s. <strong>Schedule </strong> <strong>V.S. There is not many players in the that who can do that well. And even better we get to see one more year of Abrams Domination. <strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="233710" first="Matt" last="Christensen"]</strong> 5’10 190lbs 1,109 yards 168 car 6.6 yards per carry 16 TDs 5 rec 80 yards 2 TDs 87 TKLs  1 TFL Class of 2022| Uncommitted Matt also had a great season with 1,109  total yards and 18 touchdowns. along with his skill on the ground  matt has proven himself on the defense with 87 tackles and a tackle for loss. His senior year was filled with great moments and he has a ton of skill. <strong>FB/ OLB Michael Kruntorad</strong> 109 carries  931 yards 8.5 yards per carry 9 TDs 12 rec 214 yards 2 TDs 92 tackles  9 TFLS Class of 2022 | Uncommitted Fullbacks aren’t used like they used to be but Michael still gives me hope that they will be mainstream again. His 1,145 yards and 11 touchdowns should show that they can be a great asset to any offense. His skill on defense was just as great as his offensive work. Any linebacker that can do that many tackles and tackles for losses. <strong>WR [player_tooltip player_id="180276" first="Benjamin" last="Brahmer"] </strong> 6’6 200lbs 63 rec 1,119 yards 17.8 YPC 13 TDs 80 tackles 2 TFLs Class of 2023 | Committed: Nebraska Benjamin was a leader on both sides of the ball especially his 17.8 yards per catch he is fast. The stats speak for themselves with his 13 touchdowns. And with him already being committed it shows that college coaches have seen his speed and skill. &nbsp; <strong>ILB [player_tooltip player_id="245619" first="Tristan" last="Kuehler"]</strong> 5’10 160lbs 157 tackles 5 TFLs 12 TPG Wow I did not believe what I saw when I looked at Tristan’s stats. They are absolutely amazing his 157 tackles this year are legendary. <strong> OLB/WR Ritter Oestreich </strong> 6’0 155lbs 11 Rec 247yds 22.5 YPC 6 TDs, 56 car 256yds 3 TDs, 70 Tackles 1 TFL Class of 2022 | Uncommitted Ritter was a dual threat when he ran  the ball and caught the ball totaling 503 yards and 9 touchdowns this season. On defense he had a commanding 70 tackles along with a tackle for loss. <strong>C/G/DT [player_tooltip player_id="239780" first="Dawson" last="Raabe"] </strong>6’0 285lbs 61 Tackles 3TFL 4 Sacks Class of 2023 | Uncommitted Dawson should scare any offensive lineman, his experience on the offense helps him excel on the defensive line.  He has stopped plenty of offenses and gotten 4 sacks and 3 other TFLs. Dawson is a big part of this defense and offense and his play will help Pierce have another try for a championship. <strong>WR/CB [player_tooltip player_id="239783" first="Addison" last="Croghan"] </strong>6’2 150lbs 8 Rec 144yds 2Tds, 48 Tackles  1INT Class of 2023 Addison is another standout due to his work in the backfield at cornerback and the fact he has still done good on the offensive side of the ball. Being  part of Pierce’s shut down defense and also have 48 tackles shows how strong this team is working together and using everyone’s talents. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
