Cinco Ranch Cougars #3 Seth Salverino WR Jr 6’1 185 lbs
Seth Salverino was a wide receiver on a run heavy offense with The Cinco Ranch Cougars. However, Seth was still able to standout. Seth is extremely fast and had great hands. Even though, Seth was not the biggest or tallest wide receiver he was still very persistent and tenacious. Seth wouldn’t make it easy for defenders to bring him down and fought for every single yard he can get. Seth was also great as a kickoff returner he only returned the ball three times and each time Seth scored. Seth’s overall stats this season was 47 receptions, 1,034 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.

The Atascocita Eagles #99 Samu Taumanupepe Samu Taumanupepe 6'3" | 380 lbs | DL Atascocita | 2023 State TX DT, NG Jr 6’3 350 lbs
One of the biggest defensive tackle and lineman I’ve seen this year is Atascocita Eagles Samu Taumanupepe Samu Taumanupepe 6'3" | 380 lbs | DL Atascocita | 2023 State TX . Samu is weighted at 380 pounds and let me tell you he is more than just his size. Samu might be gigantic, but that doesn’t slow him down he’s agile, quick and very athletic. Samu is very strong bulldozing through the offensive line getting into the backfield. Samu size, strength, aggressiveness and agility make Samu one of the best defensive linemen in the area. Samu is a college prospect he currently has two offers from Texas State University and Ball State University.
The North Shore Mustangs #34 Rashaad Johnson Rashaad Johnson 5'9" | 210 lbs | RB North Shore | 2023 State TX RB Jr 5’9 215 lbs
North Shore was a team I’ve saw frequently and one player that always stood out to me was running back Rashaad Johnson Rashaad Johnson 5'9" | 210 lbs | RB North Shore | 2023 State TX . Whenever, Rashaad had the ball in his hands that man got results. Rashaad had a tremendous amount of speed and power making it very difficult to tackle him or catch up to him. Rashaad was always breaking tackles and leaving people in his dust. Rashaad was a key part of North Shore becoming state champions this season. I stated in a previous article “With a running back like Rashaad on North Shore’s offense they could go all the way to the state championships.” Rashaad had a great junior season can’t wait to see what he will do next season in his senior year.
