Here’s an early look at some prospects on the middle school level that should turn a few heads at the combine.

Dynamic undersized athlete who is dangers in all three phases of the game. Was a UA Next All-American this season.
Terry Hodges | Running Back | 2026
Intriguing running back prospect out of Brookland, Arkansas. Passes the eye test when watching him move around the field. Interesting to see how he tests during combine work.

Big body who is currently a little raw, but looks like he’ll blossom into a nice prospect. Already 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, he's really starting to develop nicely in the weight room too.
Emmanuel Burks | Running Back | 2026
Smaller, shifty back with promising quickness. Making the trip from Shreveport, LA for the combine.
JaMarcus Cranford | Wide Receiver | 2026
A very exciting player that is a threat to take the ball to the house every time he has the ball. Has very good speed for a kid at this age.
Javion Walker | Running Back | 2027
A prospect that has me excited to watch, as he develops. He’s very well put together and stands out on both side of the ball. Grandson of former NBA player, Darrell Walker.
Tayshawn Edwards | Wide Receiver | 2027
One of the better prospects in the state that I’ve seen thus far, Edwards is a promising-look athlete. Can stretch the field vertically or make grabs to move the chains.
Brayden Wallace | Running Back | 2028
It’s early, even by PRZ Next terms, but Wallace already shows glimpses or next-level talent. He’s very well put together physically and love the effort I’ve seen on film.
Chase Hancock | Wide Receiver | 2028
Another super young buck, Hancock looks like he could be the real deal if he continues to develop. He’s an explosive athlete with a knack for making defenses look bad.
Slade Norwood | Quarterback | 2027
A young quarterback with some good buzz about him. Advanced technique when it comes to quarterback play. Undersized right now, but throws a nice ball. Should have a good showing.
