The Indiana All-State Top 50 Team sees two top-tier tight ends and an outstanding kicker and punter make the squad. These three stepped up when their teams needed them. All three can be big contributors at the next level.

Jeffrey Simmons Jeffrey Simmons 6'6" | 220 lbs | TE Fishers | 2022 State IN will be heading to the MAC next season when he plays for Miami (OH). Simmons possesses great size, and he has the speed necessary to play the position at a high level. Simmons does well in jump ball situations. He uses his frame to beat defenders. He has great hands, making him a trustworthy receiver at all times. This season, Simmons caught 27 passes for 459 yards. Simmons accumulated five touchdown receptions this year. Max Sullivan Max Sullivan 6'6" | 235 lbs | TE Whiteland | 2022 State IN , 6’6, 235 pounds, Tight End, Whiteland, Senior
Max Sullivan Max Sullivan 6'6" | 235 lbs | TE Whiteland | 2022 State IN is on his way to Muncie to play for Ball State. Sullivan is a versatile player who provides significant contributions at defensive end and tight end. Sullivan has good size, and he is a great redzone threat. At defensive end, Sullivan gets off the ball quickly, and he uses his hands well to defeat the block. At tight end, Sullivan collected four receptions this past season for 60 yards and three touchdown receptions. On the other side of the ball, Sullivan recorded 23 solo and 46 total tackles. He was outstanding at creating penetration. Sullivan came up with four tackles-for-loss, three sacks and 17 quarterback hurries.
Ben Gomez, 5’10, 165 pounds, Kicker/Punter, Indianapolis Cathedral, Senior
Ben Gomez played a crucial role on a Cathedral special teams unit that won a Class 5A State Championship this season. Gomez recorded an average kickoff distance of 54.9 yards per kickoff. Gomez had 54 touchbacks on the year. He punted 40 times this season netting 1,462 yards. He averaged 36.6 yards per punt. Gomez regularly flipped field position, pinning opponents inside their own 20-yard line on 13 occasions. In the place kicking-game, Gomez was 18/23 on field goal attempts and 60/61 on extra points.
