Jaylen Harvey Jaylen Harvey 6'2" | 225 lbs | LB Quince Orchard | 2024 State MD (2024) | 6’2 DE | Quince Orchard
Harvey is an athletic edge rusher with a high motor. He displays quickness off the edge. He plays with great pad level and does a great job of dipping under blocks. He also displays speed when he is chasing down quarterbacks in the backfield. He not only relies on his quickness but he has a good set of pass rush moves. Harvey improved in the second half of the season last year, expect him to carry that momentum into this season.
Jorden Hungerford (2024) | 5’11 RB/LB | Seneca Valley
Hungerford is a 2-way star for Seneca. On the offensive end, he is a power back. He runs through weak arm tackles and is tough to bring down in open space. On defense, he is a physical linebacker that plays violently. He is a great blitzer that comes downfield and wreaks havoc. He makes a ton of plays in the run game at or behind the line of scrimmage. He also shows good pass coverage skills when he gets into his pass drops. Now that Tylek Bright has graduated expect Hungerford to have an even bigger role this season.
Elijah Frazier (2024) | 6’0 QB | Seneca Valley
Frazier is one of the top quarterbacks in the county. He has a strong arm and can push the ball downfield. He also has good touch and accuracy on those throws downfield. He is also a threat to leave the pocket and extend plays. He is a very intelligent quarterback that does a great job of getting the ball out before he gets sacked. Expect Seneca to air it out more next season.
Mikhail Seiken Mikhail Seiken 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR Blair | 2024 State MD (2024) | 6’0 WR/DB | Blair
Seiken is one of the top-skill position players in the county. As a receiver, He is a good route runner that uses his speed to create big plays. He also has good ball skills. As a DB he is good in coverage and uses his receiver skills to play the ball in the air and create turnovers. Seiken is poised to put up big numbers on both sides of the ball this upcoming season.
Gideon Ituka Gideon Ituka 5'9" | 220 lbs | RB Gaithersburg | 2024 State MD (2024) | 5’9 RB | Gaithersburg
Ituka is a running back that runs angry. He stiff arms defenders to the ground. He consistently breaks tackles. He also has some breakaway speed in the open field. He is the perfect balance between power and speed. He can run it effectively inside the tackles and outside of them. He will be one of the county’s leading rushers.
Knowel Smith (2024) | 6’1 DB | Gaithersburg
Smith is a unique defensive back. He is a safety that is amazing in run support. He comes downfield hard and is always making plays in the run game. He is a great tackler that lays down big hits. If Smith can make more plays in coverage next season he will be an all-county candidate.
Nick Spikes (2024) | 5’11 DB | Paint Branch
Spikes is a traditional cover safety. He plays deep and is a ball hawk. He breaks on the ball with great speed and comes down with plenty of interceptions. He has a knack for always being in the right spot at the right time. Spikes will put up even bigger numbers this season.
Logan Makfinsky (2024) | 6’0 T | Rockville
Makfinsky is a very technical lineman. He plays with fantastic technique. He plays with great pad level and has a fantastic base. He also shows off great footwork and hand placement. This allows him to be extremely effective in pass protection. In the run game he does a good job of moving defenders away from the hole. He will look to put together another solid season.
Anthony Coreas (2024) | 6’2 G | Magruder
Coreas is a massive lineman standing at 6’2 345. He uses his size as an advantage. He puts all of his strength and power into his blocks which is devastating for defenders. He plays with a mean streak which makes him a very effective run blocker. If Coreas can improve his speed and mobility he will be a very big college prospect.
