The class of 2025 is still very much developing, which makes it our most exciting class right now. The anticipation of many sophomore campaigns is looming, and there we’ll really see who the best of the best C/O 2025 athletes are as they take on varsity competition. For now, we have 4 amazing linebackers on our Watch List that we believe have great potential. Here are those 4!
[player_tooltip player_id="247683" first="Cailin" last="Scott"] (Harper Woods)
This guy is surely going to be a very highly ranked LB soon. Playing for Rod Oden, Callin Scott is going to continue the tradition of elite Harper Woods talent. He attended the Rising Stars camp as a freshman and he dominated the competition having been named one of the best LB’s at the camp. He’s already getting lots of local attention that can and will turn into national attention very soon. The offers are 100% coming and you better believe he’s going to be wanted by some top power-5 programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="247651" first="Malik" last="Murrell"] (Belleville)
What’s a top-prospect list without mentioning someone from Belleville? Seriously, Malik Murell has the opportunity to be a really good player for the State-Champion Tigers. The LB/RB combo from Belleville has proven to be an elite combo, and it’s overall going to be very interesting to see how Murrell develops.
[player_tooltip player_id="247648" first="Matthew" last="McCraw"] (Harper Woods)
Another Harper Woods prospect, [player_tooltip player_id="247648" first="Matthew" last="McCraw"] looks to be about on par with his peer Collin Scott. McCraw has been receiving local attention and has had the opportunity to compete against similar talent. Playing for Harper Woods means that he’ll be consistently challenged against great competition, and the elite coaching staff will make sure he blossoms into an amazing athlete. I truly believe that the sky’s the limit for McCraw.
[player_tooltip player_id="118788" first="Carter" last="Bell"] (Gobles)
From a very small school NorthWest of Kalamazoo, [player_tooltip player_id="241264" first="Carter" last="Ball"] and a few other freshmen have really stood out. Bell is 5’10" 180lbs, a very similar size to our other elite LB talent in the state. He has yet to put out a ton of film, but I know that with a commitment to football, he can become a really amazing athlete. It’s difficult to truly judge what I think he ceiling could be, but there’s no reason to dismiss the possibility of Bell being a future D1/D2 prospect.
