Ousmane Kromah – RB – Lee County
One of the biggest breakout running backs across the state, the big, powerful freshman already stands at 5-foot-11 180-pounds and runs like a deer. The 2025 prospect is a tough back who is running like one of the state’s best. He’s built well, he’s strong, and he’s became one of the more productive backs across the state by the end of the season. He breaks tackles with ease already and has all the makings of a possible 5-star down the road. As a freshman, Kromah carried the ball 188 times for 1,709 yards and 20 TD’s. He also had a receiving TD and a return TD to bring the total to 22 TDs on the season. He played like an upperclassmen and will only get better as he gets older and continues to perfect his craft. He’s already a touchdown machine and is expected to have a monster career over the next three years.
Donovan Johnson – RB – Calvary Day
There’s a big-time freshman back to know about in the Savannah area, and he’s going to be a household name around the state sooner than later. His name is Donovan Johnson Donovan Johnson 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Holy Innocents | 2022 State GA , and he’s a big, bruising back stands at 6-foot-1 195-pounds and uses his size and power to his advantage. He’s as big as a senior and breaks tackles like one too. Johnson shows good strength, balance, vision, and again, the ability to break tackles. That’s what he does. He’s a big play waiting to happen and is tough to bring down by just one defender. Even as a freshman, Johnson has made a name for himself and could be one of the state’s best over the next few years. As a freshman, Johnson rushed 170 times for 1,336 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Zayden Walker – RB – Schley County
One of the top 2025 athletes in the state, Walker absolutely dominated as a freshman on both sides of the ball in rural Georgia this fall, making plays every game at both running back and at linebacker. He’s incredibly quick and physical for his age and appeared to be playing on a different level all year. As a runner, Walker rushed for over 1,000 yards and 18 touchdowns. Defensively, Walker made 39 tackles, 16 TFLs and 4.5 sacks. He does it all for Schley County, and he already holds a few major D1 offers early on. As a freshman, Walker scored 18 rushing touchdowns, two receiving touchdowns, and scored two more touchdowns as a defender.
Zeke Clanton – Lanier Christian
One of the top young backs across the state, the private school playmaker from Flowery Branch is on the smaller side, but he plays much bigger than his size. He’s incredibly quick, shifty, and can change directions on a dime. He eludes tacklers with ease and had a true nose for the football, scoring an incredible 30 touchdowns on the season. He’s strong in the upper body and can power through tackles even though he’s a shorter, smaller back, but his elusiveness and overall speed makes him a gigantic mismatch for defenders across the region. On the season, Clanton rushed for over 1,500 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also added three receiving touchdowns, two touchdowns on defense, and another touchdown on kick return.
