Today, we will focus on the young signal callers in the class of 2024. These young men performed well under center and will thrive for years to come.
That being said, scroll down and take a look.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>QB, AJ Surace, Norte Dame </strong></span>
<em><span style="font-size: 14pt;">6’2 195</span></em>
Mr. Surace did good job under center as Notre Dame’s starter. He has seen significant playing time since his freshman year. Surace is a pro-style quarterback with good decision making ability. He does a good job working through his progression to deliver a strike. Surace is an accurate passer with good touch and velocity. He finished the year going 114 for 212, 1679 yards , 19 TDS and 7 INTs.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><b>QB, Connor Leary, Highland</b></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em>6’1 160</em></span>
Mr. Leary showed improvement throughout the season. He does a good job staying poise to deliver a strike. Leary has a good arm with good pocket presence. He does a good job throwing on the run and displays good mechanics. Leary finished the season going 53 for 95, 719 yards, 4 Touchdowns and 7 INTs. He showed flashes of playmaking ability and did well for his first year on varsity. Leary will take advantage of the offseason for a strong 2022 season.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><b>QB, [player_tooltip player_id="174107" first="Connor" last="Dietz"], Brick Memorial </b></span>
<i>6’1 170</i>
Mr. Dietz is a dual- threat with good size and quickness. He is very athletic with a strong arm. Dietz finished the year going 64 for 99, 987 yards, 5 TDS and 7 INTs under center. On the ground, he rushed for 1,353 yards on 171 carries and 18 touchdowns. Dietz is a tough runner that is difficult to bring down. He does a good job running with good vision and pad level. He is elusive in the open field with a second gear. Dietz is poised for a big 2022 season.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>QB, [player_tooltip player_id="172833" first="Max" last="Kulawiak"], St. Peter’s Prep</strong></span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em>6’4 190</em></span>
Mr. Kulawiak saw action against Paramus Catholic completing a pass for five yards. Kulawiak was recently invited to PSR Showcase as well. He has potential to be a starter when it’s all said and done. Kulawiak has nice size and work ethic to get attention from colleges. Expect to see him on the field a lot more next season.
