I am going to do a review on the top four quarterbacks in the updated 2024 player rankings. The four players are off to great starts in their high school careers. Off-season training and summer prospect camps participation will jump-start their recruitment as they enter into the upcoming season. Mason displayed leadership and poise under pressure as he led a high-powered offensive unit during the past season. He displayed a strong arm on the short-range and long-ball passes. [player_tooltip player_id="203888" first="Mason" last="Fortune"] set the school single season records with 3,137 passing yards and 40 passing TDs. Mason set a single game record with 404 passing yards. [player_tooltip player_id="203888" first="Mason" last="Fortune"] set the longest pass from scrimmage record of 97 yards twice. [player_tooltip player_id="147683" first="Tyler" last="Green"], QB, 6’2" 180 (No. 2 QB, No. 10 Overall), Cannon School. Tyler started as a freshman where he had 1,595 passing yards, 12 TD passes, 5 interceptions, and a .536 pass completion percentage. He has a strong arm and is an accurate passer out of the pocket. Tyler finished the season with 2,713 passing yards, 34 passing TDs, and 226 passing yards per game average. Carter displayed poise and patience while under pressure in the pocket to deliver accurate passes. He has a quick release on his throwing motion. Carter displayed quickness to elude tacklers when he tucked it and ran to gain yardage. [player_tooltip player_id="148015" first="Ricky" last="Tolbert"], QB, 6’1" 190 (No. 4 QB, Watchlist), AC Reynolds HS. Ricky sets up in the pocket and delivers accurate short and medium range passes. He displays a quick and fluid throwing action. Ricky displayed the ability to throw while on the run. Ricky displayed good speed when he tucked it and ran to gain yards.
