They all had varsity playing time as sophomores and excelled at their position. Here we finish off the ranked offensive linemen in the class of 2024!
#16 William Woodard William Woodard 6'0" | 295 lbs | OL Roseville | 2024 State MI (#123 overall)
Woodard is a lineman who can already straight up manhandle some guys. It’s impressive enough that he played varsity as a sophomore for Roseville, but he’s a powerful lineman that seriously does whatever he wants once he gains leverage. He’s a great interior offensive lineman that I can see rising the ranks quite a bit if he has a hot start to 2022.
#17 Logan Allen Logan Allen 6'1" | 265 lbs | OL Grand Ledge | 2024 State MI (#131 overall)
Playing for Grand Ledge, Logan Allen Logan Allen 6'1" | 265 lbs | OL Grand Ledge | 2024 State MI is a good center standing at 6’1″ 260. He blocks well, using good leverage and general technique while blocking. I’m looking for Allen to become a bigger force on the line. I want him to be more aggressive and play with a bit of a higher sense of urgency to put his opponent in the ground.
#18 Matthew Hallam Matthew Hallam 6'0" | 260 lbs | OL Grosse Pointe North | 2024 State MI (#142 overall)
A tackle prospect, Hallam did well for Grosse Pointe North. He sports some impressive agility against speedy ends, plus great power that can drive guys back. If/when he plays well at the start of the 2022 season, I can see him rising on this list.
#19 Jessten Johnson Jessten Johnson 6'0" | 260 lbs | OL Harper Woods | 2024 State MI (#145 overall)
Playing for Harper Woods, Johnson demonstrated impressive technique against some great defensive linemen. Standing at 5’11″ 260lbs, he blocked against power very well this season while being able to effectively block the speedier ones as well. Because of his upside and the competition he faces, I could see Johnson rising in the ranks by the next update.
#20 Jace Riggs Jace Riggs 5'10" | 250 lbs | OL Lawton | 2024 State MI (#152 overall)
Riggs was one of the best offensive linemen for a State-Championship team in 2021. Playing for Lawton, Riggs has plenty of experience with hard-nosed run blocking, and with his size at 5’10″ 250lbs with his 460lb deadlift, he’s able to manhandle some guys. He’s a very interesting division 7 prospect that I can surely see moving up in the future.
