Many of the prospects in the latest edition of the 2022 Class Rankings had an excellent 2021 season and have caught our eye in person and on film, but they haven't caught the eye of college football coaches just yet.
With the February signing period just around the corner, we know college coaches are busy on the road in schools looking for talent to add to their rosters, and the majority of these players, with the exception of one, according to what we were able to gather, currently have zero offers. Let's go around the state and take a look at a few who are still available:

McCullough is an active defensive back who had an excellent senior season. He stays right in the hip pocket of the receiver, roams freely and is able to make plays on the ball without interfering. He keeps his eyes in the right place and doesn't fall for play action fakes and he's impactful on special teams – he had at least two blocked field goals from what we saw on film.
From what we understand, McCullough holds one offer from Averett University.
[player_tooltip player_id="259971" first="Will" last="Monroe"] (@WillMonroe33), 5-8, 190 lbs., DT, Northwestern (@NHSTrojansFB)

Even if he can't get to the quarterback, the thing that stands out about Monroe is his ability to affect the quarterback. There were numerous times where the QB was flushed out of the pocket and the pass was incomplete because of the pressure. He can also clog up running lanes as well. He finished with 5.5 total sacks, 72 total tackles, 3 forced fumbles and 6 QB hurries.
[player_tooltip player_id="259980" first="JT" last="Knight"] (@JTKnight20), 6-5, 195 lbs., DE, Indian Land (@Indian_Land_FB)

Knight is an effective run stopper at both defensive end and tackle. He may not get to the ball carrier immediately all the time but he's able to track him down and limit the play to a short gain with good hand usage. But when he does win the battle at the LOS, he gets into the backfield quickly.
MIDLANDS
[player_tooltip player_id="259973" first="Tim" last="Speaks"] (@TimothySpeaks3), 6-2, 320 lbs., OL/DL, Ridge View (@RV_FB_Prospects)
Updated Senior Hudl Highlight Film
Speaks is a two way player in the trenches. From his left guard position, he does a great job of sealing off the defensive lineman, creating holes in the run game and time for the quarterback on a screen. He plays at nose tackle on defense and he does a great job of clogging up running lanes.
[player_tooltip player_id="259974" first="Zeke" last="Haire"] (@ZHaire_4), 5-11, 185 lbs., DB, Irmo (@Irmo_Football)
Haire is another aggressive defensive back/linebacker who is not afraid to get his hands dirty. He can come downhill and make tackles quickly or in space. He also does a good job of reading and reacting to quick routes to the outside.
LOWCOUNTRY/GRAND STRAND/PEE DEE
[player_tooltip player_id="259957" first="Garvin" last="Douglas"] (@GarvinDouglas2), 6-4 205 lbs., QB, May River (@MRsharks1)
Updated Senior Hudl Highlight Film
Douglas is a dynamic dual threat who knows what to do with the ball in his hands. Once he keeps it on the zone read, look out because it could be six points with his speed and athleticism. Be careful getting too caught up with his legs, because he's excellent in the play action pass game in making reads over the middle for big gains. He also throws the out route well on roll outs.
[player_tooltip player_id="259961" first="Abram" last="Wright"] (@abram_w), 6-2, 275 lbs., OL, Philip Simmons (@PSIronHorseFB)

At the center position, Wright was the bell cow for the Philip Simmons offensive line during the 2021 season. He has good feet and plays under control, not allowing the defensive lineman to get any penetration. There was one play on his film where the defensive tackle was likely the first threat to make a tackle on a screen and he had good hand movement to disrupt the timing.
[player_tooltip player_id="119436" first="Cade" last="Lewis"] (@cadelewis14), 6-4, 220 lbs., LB, Aynor (@AynorFootball)
Updated Senior Hudl Highlight Film
Lewis typically lines up at the outside linebacker position and will come off the edge like a defensive end. And when he comes, it's either a sack or he'll get his arms up showing his vertical strength to either tip it or pick it off.
[player_tooltip player_id="259970" first="John" last="Henry Douglas"], 6-0, 185 lbs., LB, Socastee (@SHSBravesSports)
Updated Senior Hudl Highlight Film
Douglas is what you are looking for at the linebacker position: Fast, aggressive and a downhill runner. He pursues well as he totaled 66.5 tackles in 8 games with 7 TFLs and really thrived under second year coach Ben Hampton.
UPSTATE
[player_tooltip player_id="259982" first="Aaron" last="Taylor"] (@aaron_taylor56), 6-1, 215 lbs., LB, Byrnes (@ByrnesFootball)
Updated Senior Hudl Highlight Film
Taylor was a tackling machine in 2021 and helped the Rebels advance to the second round of the playoffs. He has great anticipation of where the plays are supposed to go and reacts quickly to make tackles. He recorded 105 tackles with 5 of them being a TFL.
