Calling all college coaches. If you’re looking to fill the back end of your roster or missed on prospects you thought you might’ve landed, no worries! We have you covered! In this multi-part series, we will highlight some of the best unsigned and unoffered players that should be contacted immediately! I will do so by position, including quick one-liners of some notes based on each prospect’s film.
Chris Hood Jr. | 6’0, 210 | QB/ATH | New Castle

Definition of a football player. Know for a fact this kid can help a program at the next level, if not at QB, then most certainly at LB or RB so long as he trims down a tad. At QB, the kid’s super raw but flashes natural arm talent. Can locate downfield really well and is 100% willing to stay in the pocket and take hits. He’s so willing because he’s the one doing so on the other side of the football. Kid may be a better defender than he is a dual-threat prospect. Coaches have a look!

[player_tooltip player_id="159723" first="Michael" last="Benincasa"] | 6’3, 200 | QB | The Haverford School

4.0 GPA. Type of prospect that will impress with pads on or off. His full skillset is desirable, from his height/weight combination, to his delivery, his feet. His total package sticks out as something coaches at the next level would love to work with. Not to mention his lively arm as well. This kid isn’t afraid to attack a defense vertically.
[player_tooltip player_id="137041" first="Trey" last="Holsman"] | 6’0, 175 | QB | Archbishop Wood

Under-sized but the tape shows Holsman can hit a myriad of routes and route concepts. I think the kid is advanced when talking about his ability to mentally process information quickly. His downfield accuracy is above par. Has some great down-field rhythm throws on his Hudl.

[player_tooltip player_id="27620" first="Marqui" last="Adams"] | 6’0, 185 | QB | Neumann-Goretti

We have followed [player_tooltip player_id="27620" first="Marqui" last="Adams"]’ career since the site launched. It feels like he’s been producing at NG for 5 years now. The kid is so consistent in all he does. 2100+ yards through the air, 22 TDs. 3.9 GPA. First Hudl clip shows him heave a ball 50+ yards downfield with pressure in his face. Watch the rest for yourself.

[player_tooltip player_id="140873" first="Terrell" last="Delp"] | 6’3, 200 | QB | Harry S. Truman

Love that Delp has developed some next-level interest out of Misericordia & King’s. In a good situation, I think Delp could help a program down the road with further development. One of the few QBs I saw live this Fall that wowed me with a throw or two.
[player_tooltip player_id="140872" first="Isaiah" last="Freeman"] | 6’3, 210 | QB | Stem Academy/Chester

Status: Unoffered

PRZPA Rank: 326

Maybe there’s something we are missing with [player_tooltip player_id="140872" first="Isaiah" last="Freeman"]. To me, the kid has college ball written all over him. I hope he continues to stay patient. He put on 15 pounds of good weight this summer. Holds Chester’s all-time passing TD record. 3.5 GPA. From all I hear, he’s a great competitor and an even better kid.
[player_tooltip player_id="243563" first="Frankie" last="Morrone"] | 6’0, 190 | QB | Williamsport Area

Status: Unoffered

PRZPA Rank: 616

Here’s a kid we will meet at the StockUp showcase this January. 2300 yards in 13 games. 26 TDs to his name. Thankful he sent his tapes when he did so he can land that ranking spot that he deserved. Undersized but has some solid throws on the run. Good overall accuracy, is seen leading receivers in-stride 30-40 yards downfield. That accuracy translates on the move too. Should be ranked higher.
[player_tooltip player_id="243272" first="Trenton" last="Carter"] | 6’2, 185 | QB | Carmichaels

Status: Unoffered

PRZPA Rank: 473

Good build. All-conference QB with a 4,16 GPA. 36 total touchdowns on the year, true definition of a dual-threat prospect. Maybe we can bring out the triple-threat term for Carter as he does so much for this Carmichaels team. Reps at RB, Safety, OLB can be found throughout his career. Usually ATH’s like this play QB because of a team need, not Carter. I think he’s above serviceable at QB.
[player_tooltip player_id="149985" first="Carter" last="Speyerer"] | 6’0, 200 | QB | Daniel Boone

Status: Unsigned / Offered: Culver-Stockton, Wilkes, Alvernia

PRZPA Rank: 415

Tough year for Speyerer, no one knows that better than he does. Yet, if you are keeping up with HS football in PA, you know how talented this kid is despite his injury. I can’t wait to see him perform at our showcase. Apparently the kid has done nothing but work to get back on the field. We wish him the best of luck!
